From day one, I was immersed in the fascinating world of psychiatry and psychology, delving into diverse perspectives on suicide and exploring the complexities of addiction. Each class and case study provided a deeper understanding of mental health challenges, fostering empathy and compassion in my approach to patient care.

Armed with assessment tools like MISIC and WAPIS, I felt like a mental health detective. Throughout the month, I eagerly absorbed every piece of knowledge and honed my skills in history taking and Mental State Examination (MSE). One of the most heartwarming aspects of my internship was the one-on-one interactions with patients and administering Motivation Enhancement Therapy (MET) tasks. 

This internship has ignited a passion in me to make a positive impact in the field of mental health care, and I am excited to continue my journey as a mental health advocate and healer.

Clinical Psychology Intern

Mannah Wellness

During the one-month internship at Mannah Wellness, I gained valuable experience by conducting field research in various locations throughout Delhi. One of my primary tasks was to administer questionnaires to different groups of people, including auto drivers, truck drivers, and common citizens.

Through this internship, I was able to collect important data on health-related issues and concerns, as well as gain insights into the experiences and lifestyles of these groups. 

The internship at Mannah Wellness provided me with a valuable hands-on experience in the field of public health and community outreach. My work collecting data and engaging with different groups of people will undoubtedly positively impact the organization's efforts to improve health outcomes and promote wellness in Delhi and beyond.

The Language Network

I had the opportunity to write blogs on a diverse range of topics related to language and culture. I was passionate about language learning and enjoyed exploring different aspects of language education through my writing.

One of the things I loved about my work at The Language Network was the variety of topics I got to write about. I covered everything from language learning tips to cultural traditions to exam preparation strategies. No matter the topic, I approached each piece of content with the same level of enthusiasm and commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Unique Psychological Services

I worked for 10 months as a content planner and writer at Unique Psychological Services. My day to day activities included writing content on latest psychology trends, planning social media content, writing captions for facebook posts and sometimes making presentations. It was a work from home internship and also my first gig as a content writer. During the internship, I learnt a lot about organisational behaviour. I understood the working the of an organisation provides services while working with Unique Psychological Services.

Web Content Writer

I received training from the clinical psychology staff and gained practical experience by observing and assisting with the work performed. I assisted in and performed psychological tests. I collected and organised data, made analyses, and prepared reports. During the internship I observed methods, problems, and principles related to psychological services to clients covering either a broad range of disordered behaviour or specific to particular problems. I interviewed clients and conducted Mental Status Examination (MSE). Took case histories and participated in in-service training programs. For the whole month, I was supervised by people experienced in counselling, group and individual therapy, and other psychological methods of behaviour modification.

Fortis Healthcare

This internship was a door to the vast world of clinical psychology for me. The internship taught me the basics of clinical and counselling psychology. Everyday activities included attending workshops and then completing the assignment accordingly. Assignment included diagnosing disorders, making reports and analysing them.

Hello there! I am a student of MA in Psycho-social Clinical Studies at Ambedkar University, Delhi. I completed my graduation in Psychology from the University of Delhi and have had the privilege of doing several internships in the field.

My experience includes working at Unique Psychological Services as both a Content Writer and a Psychology Intern. Additionally, I have worked with The Language Network as a Content Writer and Developer, and have taken on some freelancing projects in the past. Currently, I am working as a Content Head and Social Media Manager at Sorditcon Private Limited.

I am extremely interested in entrepreneurship in the field of Psychology and aspire to make a big impact in this field. I am more passionate than ever about this field and I know that I want to help people. However, my focus is on achieving my personal goals of building a fulfilling and rewarding career, positively impacting the lives of the people I work with, and finding happiness and contentment in my own life.
