Within 9 months only, the company was shut down. I felt bad for a few months and eventually realized, I had nothing to lose. So, I worked on my first startup, UserStory.io with my friend, Sachin (Mar 2017). We tried really hard for 10-11 months and finally, after burning all the savings, we had to shut the shop. After UserStory, I joined Adya, a security startup that was acquired by Qualys. Finally, Yes Finally, something good happened professionally. After being part of 2 startups that were shut down, I was part of the first acquisition. Around Sep 2018, I joined Slintel with the hope of learning the traits of entrepreneurship from the founders. What a fairytale it was. I will be indebted to Slintel for teaching me the ABC of entrepreneurship. I was super lucky to have the best founders, I could have ever aspired for. Thanks, Deepak and Rahul. Around Sep 2021, Good news came and Slintel was acquired by 6sense. Yes, you are correct. This was the second acquisition after being part of 2 failed startups. Now, it's even. After the acquisition, I worked with the 6sense team for the successful integration of Slintel Product into the 6sense ecosystem. 31st March 2023 was the last date of this beautiful and enriching Slintel + 6sense journey.
