Abidemi has been actively building and contributing toward crypto and blockchain adoption in Africa for 2 years. As an early contributor within decentralized organizations such as Gitcoin and BanklessDAO, she has coordinated workflows around content creation, community design and media growth, operations, and DAO governance. She was a participant in Colony's DAO club cohort 3, a speaker at the Woo Networks Crypto meetup Lagos conference, and a venture fund fellow for Africa3 where she contributed to the fund's content and community design. She is very passionate about web3 Venture funding within Africa and has completed the Entry Level Venture Analyst program where she's learned the art of deal flow/sourcing, market analysis, due diligence etc. Her goal is to contribute towards supporting and investing in founders using emerging technologies such as crypto, blockchain and web3 mental models in building critical solutions that help solve Africa's coordination problems. Abidemi is currently supporting investment decisions at Emurgo Kepple Ventures and have contributed towards the funds success in terms of deal sourcing, market research, investment memo and due diligence and PR. She's open to collaborating with founders and investors building web3 solutions for Africa.
