Responsible for the strategy, execution and reporting of content marketing campaigns. A  
people manager within the Marketing department reporting to the Head of Marketing. Briefing and overseeing work from Marketing Executives, Graphic Design and Sales Executives and managing third-party agency relationships including SEO and Channel Marketing. Content marketing calendars include paid and organic social media content, short-form videos, blogs, email marketing, landing pages, web content, in-app content, and lead magnets. 

Promoted in October 2022 to a leadership role: hiring, training, and managing a Marketing Executive.

Managed omnichannel content creation and reporting. Creating social media content, blogs, email marketing, managing websites and landing pages for each location, and managing marketing agencies and developers. Regularly promoting events for each of the brands, working closely with the graphic designer to produce digital content and coordinate all parts of our campaigns. 

Adopted all marketing responsibilities including task management of a Graphic Designer and weekly reporting for investor meetings following the exit of Steyn’s Marketing Manager between January 2022 and October 2022.

As their first marketer, I reported to the Managing Director initiating all marketing processes, programs, monthly reporting and tracking, regularly collaborating with the Head of Sales. Responsible for email marketing, social media, and website and overseeing the design. Brought a data-centric approach to content strategy by using customer data and tracking trends for best SEO results.

Conceptualised consumer brand for the Christmas period (Peanut and Poppet). Developed and trained the team on a customer messaging strategy, and introduced new processes and tools to aid this for example implementing a chatbot to improve UX. Worked alongside an online coordinator to rearrange the website hierarchy, implement SEO improvements & updated the website to fit the customer segmentation strategy.

Conceptualised and executed Laser’s marketing strategy and messaging including copy writing, press releases/external communications, Go to market planning, conceptualising new brands, presentations to national retailers senior leadership teams, social media and packaging. Responsible for a part-time Marketing Assistant who was undertaking a Marketing Degree and oversaw the work of 3 Senior Graphics Designers. Managed PR agency relationship from briefing to sign-off.
Conceptualised and launched new products with in-app solutions (fitness watches and heart monitors) and a 22-piece smart home range in national retailers across ANZ 

Replicated and executed a consumer competition (to win a mini) implemented at national retailers (1000+ stores). The marketing mix included social media, email marketing, SEO, guest blogs on retailers’ websites and point-of-sales displays in-store. This resulted in a 300% growth of revenue for Laser in the same period of the previous year.
Planned, executed & presented vendor participation at Harvey Norman’s national conference. Conceptualised, briefed, and coordinated construction for an exhibition home to showcase our smart home products through live demonstrations including programming scenarios in which I took part in 220 franchise owners. This directly led to Harvey Norman listing all 22 SKUs online and in-store (550+) across ANZ.

Selected through a Pareto assessment day where groups were asked to perform tasks and interview for Risk’s first UK graduate scheme. I was responsible for lead generation activities: primarily cold calling and emailing prospects. Notable success included significant new business from selling ID verification software to dating agencies in the UK. Considered innovative by the leadership team against the backdrop of LexisNexis’ typical customers being financial and professional services. This was achieved through organising and presenting a webinar by liaising with the largest British dating agency association of independent agencies and converting their sales to Monthly Recurring Revenue.
