Even as we grew to $180k ARR with an 11% monthly growth rate, I continued speaking with users regularly to stay aligned with their needs.

I also built a community of 20 power users who provided feedback on beta features before wider releases. This group became a key part of our development process, ensuring we were always improving based on direct input.

These efforts, combined with strategic product positioning, led to a 300% increase in customer acquisition and a 210% jump in paid subscribers. 

We also earned organic features in top AI publications like Rundown AI, Superhuman AI, and AI Tool Report, reaching a combined audience of 2 million subscribers—all without paid media. 

In just 9 months, we grew from 0 to $180k ARR.

As a Product Marketing Manager Intern within the Microsoft Plus team, I contributed to the team's mission of creating a unified ecosystem for Microsoft. 

My primary project was to redefine the positioning of the Microsoft Account (MSA), a critical element that integrates across numerous Microsoft products and services.

To achieve this, I spearheaded a comprehensive research and analysis effort, collaborating closely with 13 product teams, including both Product Managers and Product Marketing Managers. 

This involved in-depth customer research through surveys and user interviews to identify unmet needs and pain points related to account management and cross-product usage. 

I also conducted an extensive competitive analysis, evaluating the strengths and weaknesses of competitor account experiences, focusing on key players like Google and Apple, to identify opportunities for differentiation.

These insights were instrumental in shaping a new, data-driven MSA positioning that focused on enhancing user value and simplifying the overall account experience. 

I translated these findings into actionable recommendations that directly influenced product roadmap changes, resulting in improved user satisfaction and a more streamlined cross-product experience.

My team and I collaborated with Minecraft to understand how their new neurodiversity inclusion policy affected players. We focused on measuring changes in how players felt about the game and how they interacted within it.

To get a real sense of player experiences, we dove into over 10,000 comments from Reddit and YouTube, collected throughout 2021 and 2022. 

We used advanced language analysis tools to pick up on subtle emotional cues related to safety and feeling included. 

This approach allowed us to uncover deeper insights than we could have through surveys or interviews alone, giving us a more detailed picture of player reactions.

The good news was that our analysis showed the initiatives were working. 

We saw a 35% jump in positive comments about safety and inclusivity from neurodivergent players after the policy was introduced—a clear sign that the changes were making a difference.

Based on these positive findings, we worked with Minecraft to develop practical solutions. 

This included suggesting new in-game moderation tools designed specifically with neurodivergent players in mind, as well as creating dedicated community spaces where players could support each other. 

The goal was to make the game even safer and more welcoming for everyone.

We took a comprehensive approach. For healthcare systems, we produced detailed content like blog posts and white papers.

To engage patients, we built a strong social media presence on platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.

For healthcare providers, we ran targeted LinkedIn ad campaigns that highlighted Ravkoo’s ease of use and efficiency.

This strategy, supported by ongoing A/B testing and performance analysis, delivered strong results.

We achieved a 25% increase in website traffic, a 30% rise in qualified leads from digital channels, and a 15% boost in conversion rates.

Revenue grew by 18%—from $500,000 to $590,000—in just 3 months.

I also worked closely with the sales team, equipping them with the tools they needed to succeed.

We developed a range of sales enablement materials—presentations, case studies, and competitive analyses—that helped them clearly communicate Ravkoo’s value and address customer concerns.

This collaboration led to an 18% improvement in lead conversion rates, from 10% to 11.8%, and a significant 20% reduction in the sales cycle—from 60 days down to 48.

These improvements, combined with the increased flow of qualified leads from marketing, boosted the average deal size by 15% and drove a 22% overall increase in sales revenue, directly tied to the enhanced sales process.

I led efforts to reposition our technology services, highlighting how we use AI and cloud technologies to deliver scalable solutions. 
This included creating messaging that addressed their needs and developing content to showcase our expertise, particularly in areas like generative AI.

I collaborated closely with the sales team to refine our pitch and create materials that clearly communicated our value for large-scale digital transformations. 

To reach Fortune 500 leaders, I designed and executed targeted Account-Based Marketing (ABM) campaigns. 
These campaigns combined personalized LinkedIn outreach, focused email sequences, and strategic direct mail, all customized to address the specific challenges of each account.

The results were significant. 

These campaigns generated $455,000 in revenue and consistently delivered an average of 105 qualified leads per campaign, surpassing our goals. 

We also saw a 20% increase in our average deal size, indicating that we were attracting larger, more strategic clients. 

This effort helped reshape how Egen was viewed in the market, driving significant revenue growth in the enterprise segment and establishing us as a trusted partner for digital transformation.

For example, I noticed that our LinkedIn ads targeting HR managers were getting a lot of clicks but not many conversions. 

So, I tested different ad copy and landing pages, focusing on the specific pain points I knew HR managers faced.

You’re planting a seed for a tree whose shade you may not sit in for years. There’s no quick win.

4️⃣They make you feel like a beginner again.
The best forks reset your status. 
They make you feel like a student again.

Most of our choices are about navigating the road we’re on.
A special few are about choosing an entirely new destination.

The trick is learning to listen for the quiet sound of the map changing.

A few years ago, a kitchen drawer rewired my brain
Seriously

I was staying at a friend's new apartment.
I grabbed something and pushed the drawer shut as I walked away.

But it didn't slam.
There was no sound.

It was closing itself. 
Slowly, silently gliding into place with a perfect, soft click.
 
I’d lived my entire life with slamming drawers. It was a fact of life, like gravity.
I had never once thought to complain.

Then I got home that night.
I closed a drawer.

THWACK. 💥

It sounded violent. Broken. Unbearable.
That moment has stuck with me ever since.

In marketing, our job is to translate what engineers build into something the market understands.

We run surveys, analyze feature requests, and build messaging around the problems customers tell us they have.

But the most powerful features aren't the ones people ask for.
They're the ones that remove a friction we've all silently accepted as normal.

I call this Silent Value.

Silent Value is the absence of a hassle you never knew you had.
You can't A/B test a headline for it because customers aren't searching for a solution.

They don't know a solution can exist.

This creates a huge challenge: how do you sell a secret?
You can't.
You have to get people to experience it.

This is the "No-Return Test."

Once someone experiences the world without that tiny friction, going back is unthinkable.
Their baseline for "normal" is permanently rewired.

This is true for a physical product, like the drawer, but just as powerful for a service that saves you a minute or removes a tiny annoyance.

This is where true product stickiness is born.

Our goal isn't just to find customers with a stated problem.
It's also to create that "THWACK" moment, where they realize a silent problem has been solved.

I thought I was a rational person.
Then I got 2 quotes last week.

They were for the same freelance project.
One contractor quoted me $1000 and the other, $987.

My brain did something I didn't expect.
It immediately wanted to negotiate the $1,000 quote. 
Even though it was already the higher price.

The $987 felt… final.
Like the person had calculated every minute and every cost down to the last dollar. 

But the $1,000 felt like a suggestion. 
Like its starting point for a conversation.

Scientific research from Columbia and Northwestern backs this.

Precise numbers can signal you're less flexible, making people less likely to negotiate.

Tested this with a freelancer friend. 
Told him to try using precise numbers like "$97/hour" instead of $100 for projects where he wanted to avoid haggling.

He texted me this morning.
He closed a new client faster than ever. 
Without any negotiation.

The lesson is simple here:
Round numbers attract conversation.
Precise numbers signal firmness.
