Regional Vice President, New Sales & Leasing

Lead a team of 30+ professionals in the new equipment division of a major dealership, managing full P&L responsibility and driving significant revenue and profit growth. Collaborate with regional sales leaders to enhance profitability and optimize sales performance. Spearheaded initiatives that increased sales rep contributions and accelerated overall revenue growth. Introduced CRM dashboards to improve inventory management, significantly reducing aged stock and increasing operational efficiency.

General Manager, New Equipment

Responsible for increasing our Class 1, 2, and 3 market share in Texas and Louisiana, focusing on introducing lithium technologies for equipment ranging from 3,000lbs to 40,000lb capacity. Developed the Fleet Management program, including all processes and procedures, and added 150 assets to the program within 2 years. Conducted weekly training with the sales team to improve knowledge and increase adoption rates across all branches.

In my role as Regional Vice President of New Sales and Leasing at Global Fleet Solutions, a respected national accounts solutions provider, I had the opportunity to guide a dedicated sales team, which included six National Account Business Development Managers, one Account Manager, and a group of diligent coordinators. Together, we worked tirelessly to understand our clients' needs and to find solutions that would benefit them in the long run.

During my time with the company, I was entrusted with the responsibility of overseeing the largest account, a role I approached with a deep sense of commitment and a focus on collaborative success. Through collective efforts and a shared vision, we were able to facilitate the sale of over 400 lift trucks, contributing to a significant increase in company revenue over a two-year period.

Leavitt Machinery is one of the fastest growing materials handling equipment dealers in North America. We pride ourselves on providing a wide variety of equipment options for every application. Our full service branches offer new and used equipment sales, short and long term rentals, emergency and preventative maintenance, safety training and parts support.

As the Northern BC Territory Manager for Leavitt Machinery, Ace is responsible for effectively managing and growing major industrial, construction, and rental accounts within the region. He works closely with the service, parts, and operator training departments as well as the upper management team to ensure the full range of products offered by the company are receiving maximum exposure.

Ace joined Leavitt Machinery after completing his Marketing Management Diploma- Professional Sales Option- at BCIT and working with the company on a number of school and work based projects.

Successes include implementing effective prospecting programs to meet annual revenue targets of over $7MM, reducing customer equipment operating costs by 45% through uncovering opportunities and implementing  efficient material handling solutions, and collaborating with internal business units to exceed customer expectations.

Territory Manager

In my role as a Sales Representative at Leavitt Machinery, I had the privilege of immersing myself in various departments within the organization, acquiring a comprehensive understanding of its multifaceted business units. This experience enabled me to collaborate with a diverse team across different roles, while spearheading several significant projects for the company.

My initial project was pivotal in enhancing the customer service experience. I took the initiative to engage with existing clients, keenly assessing their needs and addressing their concerns. This endeavor led to the development of a detailed SWOT analysis, through which I identified the strengths of Leavitt Machinery and proposed strategic recommendations for further improvement.

Furthermore, I created industry reports to pinpoint new opportunities for the company, analyzing the revenue potential in various regions. This involved detailed research into several key territories, allowing me to adeptly evaluate the prospects of new markets and develop a deep understanding of the economic landscape.

I am proud to note that the majority of these projects were self-directed, a testament to my time management and interpersonal communication skills. This journey not only honed my professional abilities but also enriched my perspective, preparing me to excel in future endeavors.

While working as a summer intern for Leavitt Machinery in the Aftermarket Parts department, Ace learned valuable sales skills and improved his confidence over the phone. In just 3 months within the department, Ace made over 1,000 colds calls throughout Canada and the United States, qualifying prospects and passing leads to the appropriate representatives as needed.
