As a Career Services Manager at Houston Community College (HCC), I oversee the delivery of quality career development programs and services to students, alumni, and employers. I have over 6 years of experience in higher education, with a focus on career counseling, and student programming. In addition to my role at HCC, I am honored to serve as the President of the Texas Association of Chicanos in Higher Education (TACHE), a non-profit organization that advocates for the educational and professional advancement of Chicanos and Latinos. I am responsible for leading and managing the state board, marketing, outreach, recruitment, community-building, fundraising, program development, mentoring, and more. Outside of my role at HCC, I offer training and workshops tailoring my expertise for young Latinx audiences all the way to experienced professionals.
