Develop and maintain relationships with physicians, hospital boards, directors, and key industry players.

Create strong team dynamics and unparalleled success in the industry achieving and maintaining busiest medical imaging facility in North America.

Manage patient care, staff, technology, research, clinical trials, radioisotope, equipment purchase/maintenance, technicians, physician assistants, marketing/sales force, billing, hospital/insurance contracts. Manage all aspects of daily business operations and maintain high levels of employee retention and physician/ patient satisfaction/loyalty.   
	
Initiated strategies to redeploy company resources, resulting in an increase of scans from 300 to 500 per month.

Executive Vice President

Contacted the NYC Health and Hospitals Corporation (HHC) and won the RFP for outsourcing PET-CT radiology services at 23 NYC facilities. Retained the contract, worth over $5,500,000 per year for over 13 years. 

Negotiated with the Veteran’s Administration in Area 3 covering seven hospitals in NY region. Adam won the contract which amounted to over $5,000,000 in annual revenue.

Director of Sales & Marketing

Joined NY MedScan, a newly launched diagnostic imaging clinic and the first to offer the innovative PET-CT scanning procedure in NYC.  As MedScan’s first salesperson, Adam’s role was to educate doctors about the new technology, build credibility for the procedure and MedScan, and nurture relationships with doctors to influence their decision to refer patients.

Doctors from all over the tristate area were attracted by Adam’s passion for customer service, energetic communicative style, and acceptance of full accountability for results.  Referrals to the clinic soared and volume reached 20 scans per day growing,  Adam’s perseverance and tenacious focus on doctor and patient service earned MedScan $8,000,000 revenues in his first year.

NCM-USA

While still working at MedScan, Adam was commissioned by an investor to start-up the first radiopharmaceutical manufacturing facility in New York City now operating as UCM USA (www.ncm-usa.com).  Adam’s experience in the PET-CT and medical technology field, combined with his many, high-level, industry relationships made him the ideal candidate to consult on this project.  Adam was responsible for all aspects of this project including project design, site selection, building design and layout, equipment selection and procurement, staff recruitment, and financing. 

This $25 million Bronx facility designed by Adam is the most state of the art in the USA with the highest production capacity in the country, putting NCM at the forefront of the radiopharmaceutical industry.  The Bronx location is the model for a national rollout of similar facilities across the country.

Startup Chief Operating Officer

The Proton Institute of NY

While still working at MedScan, Adam led the charge to bring proton cancer therapy to NYC as he had previously done with the new technology of PET-CT.  He helped establish The Proton Therapy Institute of NY (www.tpiony.com) in partnership with major NYC healthcare institutions including Sloan Kettering, Columbia and NYU.  Adam designed the project, recruited architects and experts in the field, procured land and bought the equipment.  After two years of dedicated effort, the NYS Department of Health finally approved the project. This $300 million center, now led by Sloan Kettering, is slated to open in 2020 as the NY Proton Center.
