My story: One time, I worked for a local newspaper, where CEO's mom suddenly appeared in the office and said that the contract we agreed to (with her son) was "unfair for the company" and we should change it. I was angy and disappointed as this was the most unprofessional move I ever experienced at that time. Couple of days later I quit and never turned back. Then there was this other (supposedly long-term) gig where company hired me along with another team member until 2 months later, it turned out that they didn't have enough money to pay any of us. I had to take them to court to finally get what I was owed. And if that wasn't bad enough, I got sacked three times! All of these tough experiences and more than 100 interviews attended, totally changed my viewpoint on career planning and job search techniques. I began to understand that this is a game and you need to understand the rules to break them. I began testing different ideas, strategies, approaches, value props. Tried to figure out my own way of doing things and observed what sticked and always asked for feedback. Who am I? My name is Adam. Professionally, my world has spun around technology since 2014, but I have never been a tech geek, rather a pragmatic, curious human being who has been harnessing it to improve the world around me.
