I trained as an engineer, before starting a software company with my wife Laila at the age of 24. We sold the business to a publicly traded company before I was 40 - while learning many lessons along the way. The rush of building our firm, which made the Inc. 500 list three years in a row, gave me a deep understanding of business, markets, and scaling. Today, my mission is twofold: • Acquire and elevate outstanding American companies in the realms of tech, manufacturing, and real estate. • Mentor and guide founders, leveraging my years of hands-on experience, as they scale their ventures. I have a keen interest in companies with robust Intellectual Property, strong brand presence, and those with “sticky” technology that customers rely on. I cherish moments spent farming, fishing, and beekeeping on our off-grid Virginia farm and find solace in hiking, camping, and embracing the great outdoors.
