Nassau BOCES

I work multiple positions on officiating crews in three different sports for high school, middle school, and youth athletics. At all levels, I officiate football, women’s flag football, and men’s lacrosse.

Outside of BOCES, I also officiate for Nassau/Suffolk County’s Police Activity League (PAL), the Nassau/Suffolk Youth Football League (NSYFL), the Nassau County Youth Football League (NCYFL), and various lacrosse tournaments of all ages across Long Island.

I am a member of Long Island Association of Football Officials (LIAFO), New York State Association of Certified Football Officials (NYSACFO), USA Lacrosse, and the Nassau Country Association of Lacrosse Officials (NCLOA). 

I am an independent contractor for the New York State Department of Education through Nassau BOCES.

Copywriter

City University of New York-Brooklyn College

I worked as a broadcaster for the athletics department at Brooklyn College. I called men's and women's basketball games on campus radio stations and YouTube.

Play-by-Play Announcer 

I was the director of all sports content of WBCR, Brooklyn College's campus radio station. I worked alongside a team of student interns to maintain the station's sports content. This included coverage of both professional sports and campus sports. Interns recorded promos that were played on the campus station to promote the simultaneous YouTube and radio broadcasting of all Brooklyn College basketball games. 

I instituted the dual platform coverage of basketball alongside promoting it during commercials at the station. We saw a huge rise in our viewership, averaging over 2,000 live listeners on both platforms for games. Prior to this, the radio format of the games earned an average of 100-500 listeners.

I worked for The Brooklyn News Service, a media group sponsored by Brooklyn College. This was a contracted six month position.

Kia America

I worked as a Kia Certified new and used vehicle salesperson, specializing in new leases and used vehicle sales.

I was a 5-star DealerRater Sales Representative, the highest at my dealership. In June of 2020, I achieved a dealership record of 37 cars delivered.

I was the head of the News section of Brooklyn College's student newspaper. I worked with my staff to coordinate coverage of stories that were newsworthy to Brooklyn College students, faculty, and the surrounding community.

Managing Editor

I was in charge of all sports content for Brooklyn College's student newspaper. This includes the print publication of both campus and professional sports. I managed dozens of writers, curated stories for publication, and worked with a specific group of writers for coverage of Brooklyn College athletics. 

I introduced beat reporting to the newspaper for the first time, assigning students with an interest in sports journalism to cover a team of their choosing for an entire season.  This worked well, as we were able to produce an unprecedented amount of printed Brooklyn College athletics coverage by Brooklyn College students.

I worked as the Features Editor of Brooklyn College's student newspaper. I worked with a group of writers to cover local, soft news surrounding Brooklyn College. This included lots of professor/ student bios, Q&A's, and community stories covering things like food and art.

I worked as a reporter for Brooklyn College's student newspaper. I wrote for all sections including News, Sports, Arts, Opinions, and Features.
