Served as both classroom educator and programs director for an international school of 70 students that reached nearly 300 hailing from 20+ countries during tenure.  Utilized culturally relevant teaching and culturally responsive pedagogy best practices to enhance student experiences.  Led Intensive English (ELD) classes for students at elementary, middle school, and high school levels.  Developed full PreK-12 physical education program, including fitness, weightlifting, and health courses. Designed a full menu of programs including athletics, student leadership groups, extracurricular clubs, and elective courses that were not offered prior to arrival.

Served as a member of leadership team charged with opening a new $14 million, 84,000 square foot facility.  Took membership base from 0 to 12,000+ members in a two-year period.  Managed a $2 million department budget.  Directly supervised a staff of 3 full-time employees and oversaw an entire department of 25 individuals.  Led diversity and inclusion efforts for both staff and membership. Provided administrative support to Branch Executive Director.  Built strong rapport with community and demonstrated leadership abilities through difficult circumstances.  Guided member involvement programs and developed marketing/promotional materials. Created a facility of unparalleled customer service.
