Hi, I’m Damola Popoola. I’m a Project Manager (PMP-Certified), Mentor, and Career Growth advocate based in Calgary, Alberta. Here are some fun facts about me: 📍 Born and raised in Nigeria, I’ve carried my roots with me while navigating life, study and work in the United Kingdom and Canada respectively. 🎓in 2017, I earned my MSc in Operations, Projects and Supply Chain Management from the University of Manchester in the United Knigdom, a time that also deepened my passion for football and cemented my loyalty as a proud Manchester United fan. 👨🏾‍💻 During the day, I lead complex Information technolgy and Infrastructure projects, focusing on strategy and seamless execution. Outside work, I share insights and mentor aspiring and seasoned project managers to help them elevate their careers. ⛳ Last year, I picked up golf—though my swing still has a lot of room for improvement! Maybe 2025 is my breakthrough year. ⚽ As a lifelong football fan, I believe the sport mirrors life: teamwork, strategy, and resilience are everything. 📚 I’m a relentless learner, whether it’s exploring generative AI, completing Agile certifications, or engaging with the local PMI-SAC chapter.
