Provide department orientation and training of service standards, procedures and specific programs. 

•Duties include meeting and greeting guests ensuring the highest standards of guest care and attention 

•Co-ordinate with the Housekeeping and Reservations departments, for all arrivals at the hotel, to ensure that they are handled in an efficient and hospitable manner 

•Assist in the training, coaching, counselling, and disciplining of employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; and enforcing policies and procedures 

•Resolve guest dissatisfaction by investigating, evaluating, and settling of complaints; following up with guests; personally resolving difficult situations 

•Assume the responsibilities of Manager on Duty and maintain a visible image of management at all times. 

•Conduct daily departmental briefings.

•Good coordination between all departments to ensure guest satisfaction and team member satisfaction. 

•Manage room inventory, monitor room type availability and control and coordinate full house activities. 

•Special attention and care given to VIP’s to ensure an overall pleasant and memorable experience is attained. 

•Check and approve all cashiering media or paperwork and supervise shift take-over and hand-over procedures. 

•Carry out any other duties as and when assigned by the Management of the Hotel and department.
