With over 18 years of diverse and progressive experience in the engineering and management sectors, I am the General Manager of Geocycle Egypt, a leading company in alternative fuels and raw materials, waste management, and ecological systems development. I have been in this role for 2 years, overseeing the full profit loss accountability of the company, as well as the development and implementation of its vision, strategy, and projects. My mission is to transform waste into a valuable resource for the circular economy, while reducing the environmental footprint and carbon emissions of the cement industry. I have successfully led and delivered several initiatives and programs that have enhanced the company's performance, reputation, and impact. One of my career highlights is being the project site manager for one of the biggest projects in Egypt in 2012, co-financed by the EU and the World Bank, with a positive environmental impact. I am also passionate about sustainable development, climate justice, renewable energy, and carbon market, and I hold professional certificates in these fields from reputable universities.
