I am an alumnus of the Levin College of Law at the University of Florida, where I earned my LL.M. in International Taxation. This experience further expanded my interest in the international tax space. Before my current engagement, I contributed significantly to research on international tax laws and public finance at the NIPFP, affiliated with India's Ministry of Finance. This role was instrumental in blending theoretical knowledge with practical insights and enhancing my research capabilities across various tax, financial, and fiscal law subjects. In my previous career phase, I served as a litigator in multiple Indian cities, offering legal guidance and crafting opinions in insolvency law, customs, intellectual property, and taxation. This role demanded frequent interactions and negotiations with a diverse range of clients, reinforcing my dedication to responsibility and timeliness. I am a firm believer in the learning-by-doing approach, having undertaken numerous responsibilities throughout my educational and professional journey. My multilingual abilities and experience living in different cities underscore my appreciation for cultural diversity and collaborative work. My areas of professional interest include international taxation, with a particular focus on US and European taxation, transfer pricing, and digital taxes. I am driven to contribute to global discussions in these areas, viewing my professional achievements as just one aspect of my identity. Previously, I enhanced my expertise at Ernst & Young in New York, focusing on international tax advisory, planning, and compliance. Currently, I am a Senior Associate (Tax) at PwC in the Cayman Islands, specializing in K-1s, 1065s, and other compliance tasks. Additionally, I volunteer with the ABA Tax Section and serve as a Book Reviewer for The Journal of the American Taxation Association.
