Senior System Analyst

Wayfair

• Conceived and implemented a multi-quarter project that resulted in saving $200k/month by achieving 80% reduction in end-to-end failure rate for warehouse ship notifications by modernizing the connection points between the supplier facing APIs and a strained warehousing fulfillment system. 
• Partnered with engineering teams to launch an auto-restager for EDI ship notifications that removed the need to manually restage ~25k files/year and eliminated ~400 hours of monitoring work annually for frontline teams. 
• Successfully led a global supply chain-wide project for decoupling products from Wayfair’s SQL monolith architecture. Worked across teams to manage bottlenecks, provided escalation management, and maximized business benefit while building great customer experiences. The launch of this product has prevented false failure of around 24.8M inventory data lines in its 12 months post launch.
• Navigated the launch of ‘Monitoring Platform’ - an event aggregating platform that leverages ‘DataLake’ to capture success & failure events for supplier transactions in near-real time. Led the operations group in the launch of supplier notifications based on this aggregated data. Since its full rollout, we have seen a 0.28% reduction in % GRS cancelled due to data inaccuracy from 1.11% to 0.83%.
• Built alerting mechanisms to identify & escalate processing failures in near-real time using tools like DataDog to relevant stakeholders. Improved supply chain performances by analyzing supply chain data with focus on critical areas like processing speed, accuracy & E2E success.

• Defined a set of KPIs to measure business and operational impact for initiatives, analyzed them on a bi-weekly basis to utilize them in decision making processes. Wrote product requirements for multiple “Mission Critical” projects - including the launch of a sandbox environment for suppliers integrating via API. Supported onboarding of ~150 suppliers using this tool with improved supplier experience.
• Successfully led the Wayfair Systems team through multiple SEV1 & SEV2 outages on critical business days like Black Friday & Cyber Monday.
• Launched the automation of a segment of the EDI supplier onboarding, as a part of a broader E2E system improvement initiative process, thereby reducing the onboarding time per supplier by 40%. 
• Developed data visualizations using tools like Datastudio, including daily reports and analyses to distribute data insights in an easily digestible manner to all relevant operations & tech partners.
• Handled the timely and reliable reporting of monthly project updates including progress & risks to global stakeholders, from C-level executives to associates and users.

System Analyst

•	Developed scorecards for suppliers, based on Key Performance Indicators (KPI) like cost savings, cash flow improvement spends, On-Time Delivery (OTD) and lead time using ERP system Prosupply+
•	Delivered the company savings of about $70K annually by identifying supplier consolidation opportunities with supplier’s portfolio defined – via alternative designs, material change, supplier’s negotiation, resourcing – and track implementation.
•	Served as a liaison between commodity manager and plant manager to improve data integrity by accurately extracting data from previously used system KBM reducing man-hours in data verification by about 10%.
•	Spearheaded the generation of a 13-month model, that helps forecast savings of each commodity manager. 
•	Supervised the development of a solid network of suppliers, analyzed and monitored supplier risks (financial, quality, technology, dependency and logistics) and ensured that all vendors were in 100% compliance with the company's quality assurance standards set by Achilles- Supplier Management Company. 
•	Lead development of a complete RFQ package, including core document, technical, cost, quality and logistics.
•	Collaborated with global supply chain team to manage e-souring project of previously generated BOM. 
•	Analyzed flowcharts for current vendor management processes and implemented new flowcharts leading to faster turnaround for adding new vendors in the Prosupply+.

Supply Chain Analyst

Ravi's Import Warehouse

• Place and monitor purchase orders, utilizing system reports with the purpose of maximizing in-stock level, while maintaining minimum inventory exposure and balancing freight costs.
• Analyzed historical consumption of costly and seasonal items and generated forecasting reports to ensure a proper demand data and pricing strategy for those items using Enterprise Resources Planning Software (ERP) - Winward 8.0.
• Used analysis, optimization and simulation modelling to- develop solutions, perform VSM data clean and assist in overall operation and sales of the warehouse. Maintained ERP master data for inventory & supply chain planning.
• Communicated with Vendors & Purchase Team to return defective material and receive credit for the same.
• Monitored and analyzed Key Performance Indicators(KPI) such as; in-stock levels, inventory cost of available inventory and obsolescence. Develop weekly report on costs and inventory and presented to management.
• Coordinated with vendors/suppliers & 3PL companies to schedule appointments and maintain dock traffic.
• Provided inventory support to marketing &sales, receiving and shipping departments for smooth business growth.
• Identified opportunities for Process Improvement within the End to End Support Delivery Supply Chain and collaborated with cross-functional teams in building supply/demand models to forecast purchase requirements.
• Root cause analysis of problems associated with merchandise stocking and preparing reports for inventory control.
• Collaborated on Kaizen events and Lean initiatives to implement and support a culture of Continuous Improvement.

TURCK Inc.

•  Lead automation product manufacturing project from concept to full integration, providing leadership for the installation of the product and kickoff meetings. Ensuring balance between costing of product and meeting finance targets.
•  Worked in coordination with the sales teams for developing of Bill of Material (BOM) for automation projects that included factory and process automation products like sensors, connectivity and hazardous area equipment.
•   Responding to Request for Quotation for automation projects with techno-commercial proposals, preparing detailed documentation of nationwide vendor development with help of CRM software -Sales Mantra
•  Special training on applications of sensor and connectivity products including connectivity solutions, PLC interfaces, sensor -actuator interfaces, Isolators- barriers and various “bus” protocols for different engineering purposes.

• Onsite experience for 3 weeks in Baroda-Ankleshwar industrial  area in state of Gujarat,India.

Process Engineer

Completed an Advanced Certification Course in Control Instrumentation at Forbes Marshall, under CII’s Affirmative Action Initiative:
Total 3 months comprehensive training held, Pimpri which included 2 weeks of class-room technical sessions on various industrial instruments such as Flow meters, Control Valves, HP Safety & Stop Valves, Gate/Globe/Check/Ball Valves, WQ Analysers, SWAS, Dust Monitors/Gas Analysers, Vibration Monitoring Analysers & Turn-key Process Control Systems and also finally the hands-on work experience in factory for 2.1/2 months in various work areas.
Gained hands-on experience in the testing and calibration of sensors, transmitters for measuring pH, conductivity, Dissolved Oxygen, Turbidity and other Water Quality Analysers and Steam & Water Analysis System(SWAS).
Learnt about the working and assembly of various Control Valves manufactured by Forbes Marshall Arca, and also other Valves like Safety/Stop, Gate, Globe, Check, Ball etc.
Learnt how the material moves in an industry from the time Raw Material arrives into the factory till Finished Product is dispatched, including also the working of depts like QC.
Also were given exposure to Soft skills development, Effective Communication, Interview Techniques for our smooth Transition from ‘Campus to Corporate’.
