In my first year at Patreon, I’ve:
• Built our first in-house corporate communications function from the ground up—developing systems for messaging, PR measurement, incident response, C-suite media prep, and external claims governance.
• Designed and launched a comprehensive media relations program, securing 40+ interviews in year one across top-tier outlets (Bloomberg, CNBC, Fast Company) as well as podcasts, newsletters, and social-first channels.
• Led our editorial and speaking strategy for major industry stages and owned events like SXSW, CES, Fast Company Innovation Festival, and Web Summit.
• Elevated Patreon's reputation through industry recognition, including securing our spot on Inc.’s 2024 Best in Business list.

Corporate Communications Lead

Twitch

I crafted Twitch’s global B2B and B2C communications strategy and narratives for press, streamers, viewers, and advertisers. This work included amplifying product launches, executive coaching, thought leadership, media and client relations, awards, and reactive comms. I also supported all monetization-related content and initiatives for tentpole events such as TwitchCon, CES, Cannes, IAB NewFronts, and more. I collaborated closely with teams across product and sales marketing, engineering and product, CX, account management, and events to showcase how we help streamers earn income across Twitch and help brands successfully connect with our community. 

During my time as the Co-Chair of the Black Guild (i.e. employee resource group), I’m proud to have led our efforts in  cultivating a community that celebrates and advocates for Black voices and perspectives at and on Twitch.

Senior Monetization Communications Manager

I built Twitch's first B2B advertising communications strategy—  highlighting innovative campaigns that demonstrate Twitch’s advertising value. I worked closely with teams across ad product, sales marketing, and events to develop key messages, activate spokespeople, and identify ongoing storytelling opportunities. I also managed our press experience and brand presence at priority industry events like IAB NewFronts and Cannes Lions.

I created and executed communications strategies that defined my clients’ authentic brand voice. I managed three to four accounts, providing strategic counsel and serving as day-to-day client contact. I built and executed integrated communications strategies to meet business objectives— tapping media relations, speaking, awards, and content strategies. As a team lead, I worked to cultivate my approach in delivering feedback, informing individual growth plans, and conducting hands-on coaching. I also collaborated with executive leadership to create and present successful new business pitches.

Account Manager

I leveraged my skills in client relations, story strategy and program development, media and influencer outreach, writing and thought leadership programs to independently secure results for my clients. I’ve built relationships with event organizers as well as press and analysts covering business, technology, consumer, and industry news. I also oversaw strategic event planning such as media dinners, press calls, and supported clients on-site at local and international industry conferences.

Senior Account Executive

I worked as strategic storyteller and  project manager where I drove proactive communications across B2B/B2C retail, e-commerce fintech, streaming video, martech, and telecoms brands. I proposed and executed targeted media campaigns across business, technology, and trade press. I coordinated on-site media relations and as speaking at global industry events such as IBC and NAB NY. I also mentored junior team members, and designed and led the “PR Tools” onboarding session for new, entry-level hires.

Account Executive

I contributed to the PR campaigns across four to five accounts, honing my skills in client relations, media relations, industry research, content production, social media strategy, and event planning. I led the speaking and awards programs for my teams, identifying new opportunities, drafting submissions, and managing upcoming deadlines. In this position, I cut my teeth writing and editing press releases, bylines, blog posts, pitches, and crafting my media relations experience. I managed social media accounts with follower counts exceeding 1 million-- maintaining profiles across Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn. Lastly, I managed key infrastructural support, tracking coverage and regularly compiling reports to visualize article impact.

Account Associate

Future of StoryTelling

My primary role at the Future of Storytelling (FoST) involved working in collaboration with senior leadership to identify and pitch new business opportunities. Specifically I brainstormed and researched potential corporate sponsors for the FoST Summit and the inaugural FoST Festival. I also assisted the editorial team to create multiplatform storytelling projects, including: copyediting editorial content and drafting weekly blog post for the FoST blog. To assist with event production, I researched vendors and partners to help curate the FoST Summit. In addition to my internship responsibilities, I served as the interim Executive Assistant to the CEO, where I managed scheduling, communications, and office operations.

Business Development Fellow

I am the Corporate Communications Lead at Patreon. I have in-house and client services experience in public relations and integrated communications for technology companies. It's the ability to dig deep into a story and hone in on the greater societal impact of technology that I love most about working in tech PR. 


Working with start-ups and enterprises alike, I translate a brand's broader business objectives into strategic media relations, events marketing, and content initiatives to build brand awareness and drive results. I have led day-to-day communications for global B2B brands (e.g. software serving streaming video, marketing, accounting, and retail industries) as well as top performing DTC e-commerce brands.
