Key Roles and Responsibilities: 
•	Employee life cycle management from entry to exit.
•	Establishing clear individual performance goals and objectives by formulation and implementation of Goal Forms across different levels of the assigned business unit.
•	Monitoring work progress through Performance Management Process, handling end to end performance appraisal process and ensuring that results are achieved according to performance standards & identification and development of bottom quartile. 
•	Conducting Dipstick Surveys to understand employee pulse and devising actions based on data received.

•	Conduct induction sessions for new joiners to set right expectations. 
•	Prepare and publish performance dashboards to ensure transparency. 
•	Conduct ESAT (on-line and off-line) activities to keep employees engaged.

Lead Fun @ Work committee for the entire organization along with regular responsibilities 

The objective was to evolve a culture where employees are engaged through regular online and offline fun activities to break the monotony of the daily work schedule. This influences the employee’s motivation, productivity, creativity, teamwork, and satisfaction. A few of the initiatives are listed below:  

•	Liaison with wellness team and celebrated ‘International Yoga Day’ and introduced ‘Lose to Win’ game where employees were motivated to lose weight and stay healthy

🚨👥 Attention HR Professionals!

🔥 Did you know 2026 has 27 bi-weekly pay periods instead of the usual 26?

Here’s the quick “wait… what?!” behind it 👇

 If your bi-weekly cycle starts Fri, Jan 2, 2026, the New Year’s holiday pushes the final payday to Dec 31, 2026 — creating an extra pay period.
 A quirky calendar glitch that shows up every ~11 years.

🎯 Why it happens (super simple math)
26 bi-weekly pays = 364 days
 A year = 365/366 days
 Those leftover days pile up → boom, 27th payday.

🧠 What HR & Finance should prepare for

✔ Check your 2026 payroll calendar
 (Fri bi-weekly + Jan 2 start = you’re almost guaranteed a 27-pay year.)

✔ Review employment contracts
 Do they promise an annual salary or a per-pay amount?
 This decides how you handle the extra pay.

✔ Pick your approach
1️⃣ Pro-rate (annual ÷ 27)
 Smaller paycheques, but the same total annual salary.
 Best when contracts state, “annual salary.”
 Employees need advance notice, so the smaller amount doesn’t feel like a “pay cut.”

2️⃣ Pay as usual (still divide by 26)
 Employees get one extra paycheque.
 Great for employee morale, BUT…
 It increases annual employer payroll cost, impacts budgets, and may require approvals.

✔ Update systems + budgets
Payroll, HRIS, GL mapping, and forecasting must be adjusted to:
=> Spread annual amounts over 27 periods
=> Avoid over/under-deductions
=> Update cash-flow so the “extra” run doesn’t surprise Finance
=> Ensure benefits, accruals, and deductions calculate correctly

✔Very important for Canada
A 27-pay year means you must review CPP, EI, and benefit deduction formulas so they spread correctly across all periods.
 If not updated → employees may hit YMPE too early or have incorrect annual totals.

✔ Communicate early
Employees need clarity to avoid last-minute shocks:
 lower-than-expected pay, CPP/EI differences, or surprise 27th deposits.
