Senior Interviewer

I served at Beersheba Springs Medical Clinic. This is a free medical clinic in Beersheba Springs, TN.  Bonners do patient in-take, filing, organize medical stocks, and can be trained to be Diabetes Educators for patients with diabetes. During my sophomore year, I assisted in the creation of the Pre-Med/Pre-Health Internship program hosted by the University, where Pre-Med/Pre-Health students have the opportunities to shadow doctors, assist with clinical duties, and gain interpersonal skills with patients. These students are given the opportunity to be placed at two clinics, Beersheba Springs Medical Clinic or Volunteers in Medicine in Winchester, TN. Derived from that project, three of my colleagues and myself created a Diabetes Education program where students go through a 10-week course of classes regarding all aspects of educating others about Diabetes. Students are then expected to continue their work within the Grundy and Franklin county communities once they have fulfilled all requirements for the course. As the Site Leader, I organized volunteer schedules and co-organized the Diabetes Education program.

Through those passions, I've been able to work as a talent acquisition specialist, manage my own coaching business, and assist other entrepreneurs in starting their ventures.
