Law taught me the art of communicating across diverse groups, navigating various perspectives within any organization to find common ground, and to work towards something you have evidence of being "right". The approach I gravitate towards when building and maintaining software involves understanding the end-to-end flow of a feature, how it's connected to the rest of the system, and its business implications. This mindset allows me to effectively prioritize tasks, refine testing strategies, make informed refactoring decisions, and ensure the end product not only functions seamlessly but also aligns with overarching business goals. It’s about seeing the forest and the trees—ensuring each piece of code not only works in isolation but contributes to a coherent, functional system designed to meet specific, strategic outcomes. In my work, I see tools and technologies as essential instruments where the true art lies in how they’re employed to achieve the desired business outcomes. My expertise spans languages like Python, Go, PHP, JavaScript, Terraform and I’m proficient with frameworks and technologies such as Flask, Django, FastAPI, Gin, React, Docker, and AWS, to name a few. Yet, what truly excites me is leveraging these tools within the context of meaningful engineering decisions and strategies.
