I help business owners cut through the jargon and complexity often associated with Pay per Click (PPC) advertising, mainly Google Ads. My fascination with 'search' started in about 2000, following my first attempt at creating a website for my rugby club. For history buffs, this was using Microsoft FrontPage! Although I quickly established that I had little design ability (I'm also a master of understatement!), I discovered a passion for understanding how search engines work and how different factors contribute to ranking success. I've developed my skills in search engine marketing (SEM), including Google Ads / Microsoft Ads, and still retain the same passion and thirst for knowledge that started over 20 years ago. My first Google AdWords (as was) campaign was built in 2002. Having worked in an Agency many years ago managing a team of Search Specialists, I now happily 'fly solo'. I've never knowingly used the word 'guru' with a straight face.
