I am simply a talent partner, since 2004 I have found an absolute passion for matching people with purpose. That's what a company is to me, its not a job spec, not a hierarchy, not a logo... a company is simply a group of people who align in a common purpose and together, try to create value in the world. Having worked with some amazing mentors, investors and boards. I've been able to build from scratch some fairly successful niche recruitment companies over the years and exit successfully, as well as lead out on a number of turnarounds, mergers and consolidations. I love what I do, I am lucky to be able to work with extraordinary people and I am on a mission to keep providing transformational talent solutions as far and wide as I can. I believe in leading with trust, setting a vision, aligning values and getting out of the way of good people to help them achieve great things. For me "Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, its about learning how to dance in the rain!", living every day with the mantra that "no matter what happens, keep moving forward." Passionate about the recruitment sector, I believe in doing things properly and adding true value to our customers. In the process, I hope to help towards lifting the poor reputation of our profession as a whole. Outside work I am a full on family man, a wannabe behavioral economist and game theorist. In my spare time I utilise my insights in this area to make macro economic predictions and invest as a position trader across global markets. I care about my local community and neighborhood. I believe in service, doing whatever little I can with local charities to support and inspire the eco-system I am part of, I don't think we're here to build forts but instead to be active, contributing members of society and so I try my best to pay forward the privileges I am fortunate to possess. I love to spend time in the gym and lift heavy things, a half decent poker player and I like to think I am fairly good at chess too!
