Senior Technical Recruiter

Major duties: recruiting in Central and Eastern Europe and in EMEA region, mainly for sales and technical positions, but also executive positions. It involves close co-operation with the business to build job profiles and specify position requirements, as well as sourcing strategy and market approach. 
Additional duties: reporting on CEE MU Field organization’s recruiting processes, dealing with escalations, establishing and maintaining long-term relations with the regional management.
Recruiting Tools: In 2007 SAP e-recruiting tool was implemented to help standardise and facilitate the recruiting process. At that time I was part of a pilot project group working on recruiting processes definition and standardization (I represented CEE MU). Subsequently, SAP recruiting model, including procedures, forms and workflows was implemented in all regions.
My work methodology: search is done directly though own contacts, networking, referrals, active sourcing (co-operation with hiring managers, sourcing recruiters, searching social and job portals, occasionally attending career fairs, university events).
Furthermore, I often act as Project Manager for recruiting projects globally, which includes agreeing on the project scope with the business, creating the project team, assigning roles and responsibilities, monitoring progress, reporting, making sure the deadlines are met, dealing with escalations and overcoming obstacles, if they occur. It entails leading of small to mid-size virtual teams and making sure the project objectives are met on time, according to the agreed budget and resources. I also act as a mentor towards more junior project members or in cases where there are communication issues or other problems putting the project execution at risk.
