- Fluid Mechanics teacher at the Department of Science and Technology of Materials and Fluids.
- Participation in the Interreg MED project PrioritEE "Prioritise energy efficiency (EE) measures in public buildings: a decision support tool for regional and local public authorities"
PrioritEE aims at reinforcing the capacities of public administrations in selecting and implementing eco-friendly and cost-effective energy planning measures.
Local public authorities and professional institutions from five MED countries (IT, PT, ES, EL and HR) will work in strict synergy on three main pillars (Capacity building, Development of decision-making support tools, Communication and knowledge transfer) to reduce energy consumption and prioritize EE investments in Municipal Public Buildings.

Technical direction of private R&D projects (fossil fuel boilers, heat exchangers, valves, wind turbines, biomass boilers, gas burners, appliances, mills, gas cleaning facilities, dispersion of pollutants, wind in urban areas).

Technical management of European projects:

- CloudFlow - Computational Cloud Services and Workflows for Agile Engineering. Experiment: Optimizing Heat Exchanger Design of Biomass Boilers.

- Fortissimo 2: Factories of the Future Resources, Technology, Infrastructure and Services for Simulation and Modelling. Experiment: Cloud-based Micrositting of Small Wind Turbines.

Development of CFD applications to be incorporated in the design process of  manufacturing companies within Industry 4.0 framework.

- Assessment of renewable energy potential projects at national, regional and local level.
- International projects for energy planning: Preparation of Sector Road Maps for Central and West Asia (Asian Development Bank).

My career has been closely linked to R&D through the application of advances techniques of fluid simulation (CFD). My thesis, on renewable energy generation and energy scenarios in Spain, was focused in the energy sector, one of the fields where I have developed most of my  R&D activity.
In 2010, I founded with two of my colleagues, Nabladot, S.L., a company dedicated to provide consultancy services based on the fluid simulation techniques (CFD), with the purpose of incorporating these technologies to manufacturing companies.
