I did an Honours course in English Literature from Delhi University in 1975 and topped in my college. After that in 1976 I joined the State Bank of India as a Probationary Officer. I retired from the Bank in 2015 after serving in diverse important positions. My performance in the Bank was appreciated greatly. In one country wide campaign to market premium category credit cards my branch emerged as No.1 in the whole Bank. Ever since my college days I have been freelancing for the media and have done even live phone-in programmes on national channels of All India Radio and Doordarshan as a guest expert and answered on the spot questions from listeners and viewers from across the country. Although I have been a banker for a major part of my career since retirement from SBI I have handled a series of assignments in non banking companies also. .I was Vice President Sales in Authentic Travels, Senior Manager Wealth Management in JR Laddha Financial services Pvt. Ltd, Manager Financial Inclusion in Synapse Solutions Pvt. Ltd and am at present a Health Planner in Care Health Insurance Co. Ltd. I have addressed meetings of the Rotary Club and conducted training sessions at JIMS Rohini, NABSCOM Noida and PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry.I have worked pro bono for four reputed NGOs I have a distinguished background. My father was a senior officer in the IA&AS and groomed me and my siblings to be ambitious and successful right from our childhood.All my relatives are quite successful in their professions as specialist doctors, senior officers.My wife was a schoolteacher in a covent school , is now a successful entrepreneur and has supported in my work for 40 years I am now a generalist and am confident that if I am given an assignment I can produce impressive results in a few weeks of joining in any post which does not require specialized, technical domain expertise which only specialists possess. I promise that if I am selected for any job or work assignment I will quit promptly if I cannot produce visible, solid results for any employer or client in a few weeks.
