"Be curious, not judgemental." – I live by these words. I'm perpetually fueled by an insatiable curiosity for the unknown, as I firmly believe curiosity is the catalyst for growth and innovation. Curiosity, however, is incomplete without the partnership of creativity and critical thinking. As someone once rightly stated, "The magic lies in interdependencies, not isolated perfection." My curiosity led me to UCSB in California, the Nordic Investment Bank in Helsinki, and ABN Amro in London. Yet, my ultimate destination was back home in Iceland, where I envisioned pioneering groundbreaking concepts: • Founding Iceland's first-ever fund of funds, investing in an exclusive portfolio of international premium funds. • Unveiling the inaugural Venture Capital FoF in the Nordics, granting institutional investors unprecedented access to international venture capital funds. • Crafting this concept from inception to fruition — from investment strategy and analytical tools to establishing a new brand ((designs used by another bank today; if you know, message me!), even overseeing custody and administrative services. The result? AUM exceeding 100 million EUR and returns far outperforming the MSCI Global benchmark. Earning a CFA nomination — a rigorous 3-year program completed by only 11% of participants — I became the first Icelander to achieve this distinction. My journey then took an exhilarating plunge into the deep end of the entertainment pool. Joining LazyTown, a modest local entertainment company, led to a global phenomenon spanning 200 countries. This journey transitioned me from novice to expert in global entertainment. Industry people still describe it as "groundbreaking." My insights, you might ask?
