I have over 26 years of technical experience in polyolefin research catalysts, working with Union Carbide, Dow Chemical, Engelhard Corporation, BASF, and WR Grace. As a highly self-motivated technician, I have specialized in Z-N catalysts, pre-poly scale up Catalysts and process optimization for commercial qualification. Throughout my career, I have been granted 21 patents and have filed additional inventions, including the development and demonstration of phthalate-free Lynx spherical catalysts for polyolefin polymerization (e.g., Consista C702, US Patent No. 11,634,520). I have contributed to numerous projects such as screening phthalate-free electron donors to increase catalyst activity, reducing cycle time, conserving raw materials, improving catalyst yields, and enhancing existing catalyst technologies. My expertise includes precursor support design, catalyst preparation, scale-up, process optimization, and providing reliable technical support. I’ve played a key role in commercial trials, delivering high one-pass success rates, customizing catalyst designs to meet customer needs, and improving catalyst life cycle performance. I have supported manufacturing plants in Pasadena, TX, and Tarragona, Spain. Safety is a core value in my work—I actively participate in safety audits and implement process improvements to eliminate hazardous practices. I am also experienced in qualifying trial catalysts, solving plant-related problems, and maintaining detailed experimental records. I’ve consistently achieved zero downtime in experimental reactions and uphold strict compliance with EHS practices, maintaining a zero-incident mindset.
