Customers:

□ Work with other team members, consultants, key customers, and key
suppliers to solve specific challenges and leverage growth opportunities.
□ Stay abreast of competing markets.
□ Successfully resolve customer issues timely and professionally.
□ Maintain positive attitude towards customers and associates.
□ Maintain branch security, oversee cash deposit activity.
□ Manages workflow to assist staff in balancing priorities, providing backup support if needed and otherwise ensuring that all work is accomplished with an appropriate
□ Negotiate pricing and issues with vendors in conjunction with purchasing
and sales management.
□ Ensures facility is maintained in a neat and professional manner.

Commercial :

□ Analyze and evaluation of activities, costs, operations, budgets and
forecast data to determine branch progress towards stated goals and
objectives. 
□ Maintain contact and friendly relationships with customers & building a favorable company image. Resolve problems and complaints as
they arise .
□ plan for customers sales calls & face to face meetings .
□ Set branch pricing and Budget .
□ Manages freight expense, customer discounts, and pricing to maintain profit levels.
□ Direct sales program to develop new markets.
□Meet & Exceed Branch KPI's & Budget .
□ Attend periodic country Management meeting.

Employees

□ Assign and directs all work performed in the branch and supervises all
areas of operation in accordance with established company
policies/procedures, objectives and applicable laws.
□ Through management decisions, communication and behavior, creates a culture and a team that works together to meet customer needs and achieve desired results.
□ Periodically evaluates the performance of branch personnel, develop goals and objectives. 
□ Become familiar with associate handbook. Ensure policies and proceduresare communicated and followed.
□ Promote an environment of Motivation and team work spirit .

Branch Supervisor

•Performing sales visits to scheduled customers (Import & Export) with prompt reporting of visits outcome.
•Price quotation from Head Office to Key Accounts on a quarterly basis. This task is handled for each account separately depending on classification of either volumes .
•Targeting new Key Accounts through extensive market research and study.
•Submitting a weekly plan for sales visits (current accounts follow up, new accounts, periodical visits).
•Following up customer’s shipments on a daily basis to ensure proper service, on time information, problem-free shipments, loading priorities, etc.
•Monitoring market and competition rate policy and changes by collecting competitors’ info so that they are usable by all sales team members
•Preparing periodical reports concerning:

Monthly sales target achieved
Monthly/Weekly sales visits.
Monthly Volume analysis (cause & effect).
Monthly Trading area analysis
Quarterly Lost/New accounts

•Performing a semi-annual approach to new Global Tenders signed by Head Office in an attempt to provide a better service for businesses not controlled by APL Egypt for their shipments to/from Egypt
