 The project involves an oil production network, water injection network, CO2 injection network, Supercritical CO2 transportation pipeline, degassing station, and products transportation pipelines, my duties involve:

Responsible for the complete steady-state and transient studies of the project which includes: flow assurance studies, adequacy checks, and sizing of all project Pipelines, the project includes over 30 different Flowline/Pipeline intended for different services with an estimated value of 200 million USD,  details given below:
Provide backpressure values based on steady-state simulation for the entire production profile which spans over 20 years leveraging PIPESIM Python toolkit to automate the simulation of the entire production profile programmatically.
Steady-state analysis of multiphase Oil gathering network Flowlines and transfer pipelines for thermo-hydraulic assessment.
Steady-state analysis of water injection network delivering injection water to WAG (Water Alternating Gas injection), gives optimized network line size and assures injection requirements are met.
Steady-state modeling of dense/supercritical CO2 injection network and CO2 pipeline using High-accuracy EOS GERG, gives optimized line size, assures no phase change occurrence and that injection requirements are met.
Steady-state analysis of product export pipelines includes Oil, Condensate, and Gas.
Prepare transient studies scope of work for the third party.
Responsible for reviewing and providing technical comments on all transient studies which include: liquid surge management, pressure surge, pipeline depressurization, wax deposition, hydrate formation, line packing/de-packing, water drop-out assessment, HIPPS analysis, and CO2 ductile fracture

Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) has initiated the FEED for The Hail and Ghasha Development Project to develop the untapped oil and gas reserves from the highly sour Hail and Ghasha fields, my duties involve:

A key player in the offshore flow assurance team was responsible for the complete project flow assurance studies for different reservoir types: Oil, Oil rim, and condensate.
Sized and modeled infield injection pipelines including water injection, gas injection, gas lift, and sweet gas transfer pipelines.
sized and modeled an umbilical/piggyback transfer fuel gas and nitrogen lines.
Steady-state analyses and sizing of main product pipelines including production pipelines, export oil, export condensate, export NGL, and sales gas pipelines.
Performed Transient pressure surge analysis for single-phase pipelines using TLnet.
Performed HIPPS system design and modeling in OLGA evaluating different valve closure times, set points, and pipeline blockage scenarios to confirm pipeline design pressure and HIPPS  set pressure.
Performed various transient analyses in OLGA including turndown, ramp-up, and shutdown operations.
Fluid analysis and creating fluid files with different compositions in Multiflash for use in OLGA.

The project consists of 10 MMSCFD capacity gas treatment unit and six compression packages. My duties involved:

Led the engineering of the project during all phases (conceptual, basic & detailed engineering) including ITB preparation, technical proposals evaluation, and coordination with other internal disciplines.
Team leader of technical evaluation for bidders' proposals.
Resolved technical clarification of engineering consultant/vendors and engaged with the client to assuring technical requirements fulfillment.
Reviewed and gave comments on process engineering deliverables such as PFDs, P&IDs, equipment data sheets, simulation reports, and other process calculations.

Provided technical support on flow assurance steady-state and transient analysis for oil fields, the same include:
Steady-state analysis of oil gathering network for flow-line design and pressure requirement assessment.
investigated the effect of flowline size for the potential benefit of total production.
Future oil wells flow assurance study for the oil gathering system.
Wax deposition prevention management and pour point depressant injection recommendations.
Studied slugging occurrence and prevention using OLGA for oil condensate flowlines and receiving facilities.
Provided technical notes for the operational issues in the field.

Performed steady steady simulation for the unit using Hysys to determine expected diesel quantities and quality confirming compliance with client diesel specifications.
Worked with related disciplines to generate a project techno-commercial feasibility study.
Successfully Presented study outcomes to top management and obtained project approval.
