Senior BI Engineer & Manager, EU Logistics HR

Built a global BI team to support 18 Ops Talent Development (OTD) teams with ~300 employees. Hired and promoted multiple BI experts and managers. Drove scalability of products and processes through standardization, while continuously delivering rhythm of business reporting and ad hoc projects. Led a highly prolific remote team based in 7 countries and 3 continents, spanning across a timezone of 10 hours.

OTD guides the talent development strategy for the largest workforce within Amazon. The team of 250+ talented Amazonians develops science-based processes and tools; identifies and develops high-potential talent to fill future needs; and provides lifecycle leadership and functional learning solutions. Our customer, World Wide Operations, is comprised of hundreds of thousands of Amazon employees across multiple global order fulfillment, transportation, corporate, and customer service organizations.

Manager BI, WW Ops Talent Development

Initiated a wide range of BI solutions for EU Ops Talent Development to set up the org's reporting environment and increase credibility with our customers through insights. Hired and lead a small EU BI team from 2019 onward. Notable accomplishments include:

- Designed and developed an end-to-end Ops onboarding system in MS Office environment to improve on existing employee induction and communication processes, by increasing data integrity and usability.
- Consolidated and structured data from multiple systems into a single AWS environment to drive scalable reporting solutions and stay responsive to evolving data needs. 
- Developed highly customized operational dashboards for talent development programs in QuickSight, Excel, and Tableau.
- Provided financial, learning, and HR related analytics that drove strategic changes to our training locations, methods of delivery, and more.

Business Analyst, EU Ops Talent Development

Core duties around analyzing our current portfolio, and knowing – through trends in market and customer-base – what amount of commodities to source in the future, and what sourcing strategy to use in order to safeguard margins. Notable accomplishments: 

- Proven steep learning-curve by contributing cornerstone analysis on sourcing strategy ‘from the get-go’.
- Engaged previously under-utilized data in a newly designed process that allows for ‘real-time’ insights in the state of our energy balance. This allowed us to amend the methods in which we decide on our future sourcing needs into a much more information-based process.
- Significant re-design of various excel based models to exploit available data and technical possibilities, allowing for gains in process efficiency, risk and error reductions, as well as usability.

Ran multiple parallel reporting and analysis projects for operational management for five brand departments. Notable accomplishments:

- Provided data analysis and presentation for quarterly reviews (e.g. providing key insights for contract renegotiations that helped increase our rates substantially).
- Project managed system revisions that affect data collection and reporting (Operations/IT/Reporting).
- Provided operational and analytic dashboards modelled to be highly actionable: providing “arms and legs” for various projects managers (e.g. leading to significant lowering of call-times on target).

While Google has many Google AdWords partners and resellers, Teleperformance is the only organization in the Benelux working directly with Google to help businesses start and optimize their advertising campaigns. Among my responsibilities was to help implement the transfer of reporting duties from Google to vendor operations. Notable accomplishments:

- Significant improvement of Revenue Sustainability by the design and implementation of an original tool, afterwards copied largely by Google analysts. 
- Improved reporting environment and efficiency through design and development of automated excel reporting solutions that utilized Salesforce and other source data.
- Provided impetus for quarterly objectives through data visualization for QBR’s and ad hoc analysis.
