Startup founder passionate solving large problems that truly disruptive and positive impact on the world. I love solving 0-1 problems and working at the intersection of cutting edge technology, design and product. I believe in going after problems that have outsized positive impact while always focussing on the end customer and what value they get every step of the way. I started my career working in ultra low latency and high-scale systems for DNS where I built services that can handle more than 1T queries a day. For the next 3 years of my career, I lead the effort to build Azure's first Revenue, Billing and Usage Platform where I own core architecture and design. I incubated this effort and built the first version of the product. The first year (2021) of the product going live, it had a net positive impact of more than 100M in revenue for Azure. This was really my first taste of the startup journey where I went from building POCs to a small set of initially skeptical users to delighting more than 100 product owners with a end to end revenue and billing infrastructure. Went to the International Math Olympiad in High School twice (2011, 2012) and the World Finals of ACM-ICPC in university (2015). Always loved all things numbers. I did research in Matroids which is a special type of algebraic structure which generalizes linear independence in university. Accounting and Finance have always been a side quest of mine since a young age because I was born into a family of accountants and financial analysts. Now it's my main quest!
