CH EdgeMakers is the new brand name for Cerebral Heights that came into existence as a result of the merger of The EdgeMakers - a leading name in training into Cerebral Heights - the original umbrella brand for my company - Cerebral Learning Solutions Pvt. Ltd.

My own entrepreneurial venture along with two co-promoters. Cerebral Heights is a training solutions brand offering traing for MBA Entrance, Employbility & soft skills and also Focussed customised corporate training solutions.

Over the last 11+ years I have managed a variety of functions and roles in the organisation. Here is a list.
** Programme desigener and Content Developer
Designed & Developed complete training programmes for MBA Entrance, Campus Recruitment, English , and Group Discussion & Personal Interview traiings.
Started with a two person team which gradually grew to 15+ strong immensely talented and motivated team. I was responsible to build, develop and lead the team which became the core strength of the organisation in the years to come.

** Systems & HR Manager
Established and Developed the HR and ERP systems of the organisation. Today this 100 odd strong organisation boasts of soem of the best known HR practices and an organisation that runs on a completley computerised - Internet & Intranet based, online real time technology backbone.

**Head - Corporate Functions (CEO)
For three years I led the key corporate functions of HR, Systems, Acc/Fin, Regional Business, Contet Management and Corporate Communications. During this time Cerebral Heights was truly transformed from a person centric trainign institute to a process driven professional organisation.

** Director - New Ventures
Finally I turned to planning and executing new business ventures for our group. Here I worked on a couplr of business ideas from doing the primary research to rolling our the complete project plans.

** Back to CEO - CH EdgeMakers
I am now back to what I loved to do always - head our parent organisation in its new avtaar. After the merger of another leading and respected training organisation "The EdgeMakers" into Cerebral Heights - I have been left to stich the merger under an all new and rejuvenated brand name CH-EdgeMakers.

I have also been invited regularly by the Indore Management Association (IMA) and the Regional Chapter of CII for conducting workshops in the region.

In this two month summer trainng as student of IIM Lucknow I worked for the International Purchase Division of the Company. I was entrusted with the responsibility of implementing a Purchase Management System Software that was developed for computerisation of the department but was not utilised then.

The project provided opportunity to gain insight into
1. Import process and related documentation
2. The world of commodity purchase and negotiations
3. Human challenges in software systems implemetation 

This unique opportunity offered me a chance to interact with the entire depertment at all levels from the Genral Manager to the process clerks. The project culminated into my conducting training programmes for the entire team including top managers.

Trainee

Tata Motors (Earlier TELCO)

Handled Production, Planning & Control, Electronic Maintenance and Design assignments. 
Was a key member of commissioning project of an automated paint machine.
Then was a key member of the Management Services Division which was the software development and maintenance arm of the organisation. Was a memeber of the Finance, Payroll and HR module team. Key achievement was a rehaul of the payroll system to incorporate new fundamental changes brought about by a wage revision agreement with the workers.

Graduate Trainee Engineer

Tata Motors (TELCO)

My first job and was it full of learning?

In two years time I went through 
a three months of Electronic Design, where I ended being a successful and only designer of an automated flasher testing equipment;

another three month stint as Electronic Maintenance Engineer dealing with 24/7 breakdowns and preventive maintenance of mission critical machines in the Engine Assembly lines. This was my first amazing introduction to the world of CNC controlled automated machines and a world of situations ruled by Murphy - where problems erupted when one least expect or when one prays they don't.

And then a six month stint as one of the two most junior members of a team that was given the task of commissioning the first ever automated paint machine in India imported from the US. Although an instrumentation engineer - I ended up becoming an expert in paint technology and computer controlled CNC machines - working on this project.This last two stints also helped me develop my personal skills immensely as I had to negotiate my way through a cross section of situations as well as a great variety of people from the most passionate to the quite weird.I must add that the project and its success brought a lot of satisfaction to us.

I finally landed in the Management Services Division - The software development and maintenance arm of the company where after a two month training on Oracle, Unix, Forms and host of support technologies I joined the Payroll, Finance and personnel team. Although new to the field - I learned the ropes fast enough to gain confidence of my bosses and hence was made the incharge of the payroll and recruitment modules in a couple of months. The highlight of this year was a total code rehaul project required for implementation of a new wage revision which I managed almost single handedly and with great success.The biggest success however, was the excellent coordination and respect that I achieved from peers as well as my client departments.
