Now retired after having worked in the IT industry, specifically in the delivery of specialist IT solutions to scientific and R&D users for over 30 years as a developer, project manager and latterly in a consultative, business development and senior management roles. As Sector Director for Tessella's Life Sciences business, I was responsible for setting the sales and marketing strategy for the sector, and working with a global sales team to deliver significant sector growth. My previous role combined business development, including a Global Account Director role for one of Tessella's biggest clients, with P&L responsibility for two Tessella offices which contribute 25% of Tessella's annual revenues. Specialties: A major emphasis of my work in the last 10 years has been in delivering solutions to the pharmaceutical industry. This has necessitated developing a good understanding of the end to end pharma process from early stage discovery to clinical trials.
