Putting data and business analytics at the front and centre of all decision-making, I ensure that the company proactively engages with target markets to deliver YoY growth through innovation. Here, I identify and seize opportunities to further professionalise the business developing and leading new and ongoing initiatives to futureproof the commercial needs of the business. I also build robust client management processes for creating efficient research frameworks to ensure clients’ requests are prioritised, challenged, managed, communicated, and delivered on time.

Strategic Leadership
Reporting to the CEO as the Founding Partner the company was formed to accelerate the development of hardware and software for larger companies but migrated post-COVID to a project development company that now holds 10 patents. Here, I deliver effective strategic leadership establishing growth priorities and embedding business development frameworks business-wide. I also collaborate with multiple growth stakeholders, including customers, Partners and Investors, continually evaluating new strategic opportunities with potential investors by performing in-depth impact assessments of associated risks, costs and resources required.

Innovation
Committed to innovation, I created a gaming studio (https://wrongreality.org/) and a VR training/education platform (https://simusim.com/). We have also developed Robots, a farUV222 light (https://www.cyclean222.com/), a Nixie tube watch and an IoT-connected dice, playing a pivotal role in the design and leading engineering teams to deliver innovation.

Transformation
Championing transformation, I morphed the company into one that develops IP, including identifying potential partners to commercialise and monetise these innovations. I also spearhead change by leading multiple improvements to business-critical processes across existing product suites and customer engagement processes.

SteriTrack LTD

Brought into the team of the world’s most comprehensive UDI verification and data capture platform enabling medical device tracking, I delivered effective strategic leadership and grove revenue growth, shaping and executing market-specific business development strategies and working with the Sales team to develop high-yield sales pipelines. This included building solid relationships with a diverse customer base and ensuring all relationships were based on trust and geared for longevity. 

Leveraging my industry expertise, I delivered effective leadership, governance and mentorship of multiple teams, including professional services project delivery, software product R&D, application support and internal/external product development teams. I also recruited and trained a handpicked team of Business Analysts and Software Developers all known for their industry knowledge and commitment to delivering innovation and industry-leading products.

Collaborating with internal/external teams I utilised my market knowledge and understanding of our customers’ needs to define business requirements and technical functionality to further develop SteriTrack’s hardware and software solutions. Here, I spearheaded product development and improvement across the entire product suite, conceptualising, designing and launching software and physical products as well as introducing a high-yield recurring revenue model. 

Committed to driving continuous innovation and transformation, I played an integral role in negotiating a collaborative research agreement to develop intellectual property for a machine-learning computer vision system. I also secured an 80% increase in product performance working with the Development team to review product performance, successfully optimising resource consumption and presenting insights and wins to the leadership team.

Vice President Operations

GS1 Ireland

Leading a team dedicated to developing the business to meet customer requirements. I led extensive transformation and embedded emerging technologies across GS1’s suite of products. This included leading the adoption of a new GS1 supply chain and IoT standards, and evolving and expanding the organisation’s service offerings while strengthening GS1’s high-yield strategic partnerships. 

Here, I identified and seized a strategic opportunity to establish a partner-based/multi-industry solution provider programme, securing a high-yield recurring revenue stream while opening up subsequent new opportunities. I also pioneered a new Identification Specification framework for the unique identification of all Health Service Executive (HSE) assets, delivering a traceability solution for medical instruments, the first of its kind in Ireland.

HEAD OF INDUSTRY ENGAGEMENT

Driving further innovation, I supported the introduction of GS1 EPC RFID tags to track airline safety equipment. I also spearheaded automation across Irish Healthcare by supporting the development/implementation of EDI (Electronic Data Interchange), developing XML specifications for invoicing, Despatch/Receiving Advice and Purchase Orders. This included working with an international team to develop training material on GS1 standards that were applied across multiple industries. I also collaborated with HSE to project manage the national rollout leveraging RFID technology to manage all of Ireland’s publicly owned medical equipment. 

Committed to maximising cohesion, I identified and seized the opportunity to drive innovation by creating and delivering a software solution for GS1 Ireland’s members to better manage and identify products/associated master data. The solution was selected for a global rollout by an independent panel of experts.  I also built working groups to benefit the industry and foster collaboration, establishing a digital retail committee, an industry 4.0 manufacturing alliance and a traceability working group. Here, I spearheaded knowledge sharing and increased supply chain industry benchmarks by creating an eLearn Platform used by over 1500 companies as well as delivering training to hundreds of international companies.
