Transformation projects in the corporate world come in all shapes and sizes. I have worked on a number and observed many others from afar through reading case studies and other people's accounts. To me, a turnaround project is a transformation. Helping a founder that's bootstrapped their business to unearth an opportunity to truly scale is a transformation. Identifying a way to secure finance of any form that allows an SME to grow and / or become more profitable is also a transformation. Transformation projects aren't just what large organisation embark upon. However, the sad fact is that most transformation projects fail to deliver anticipated benefits. I enjoy problem solving and like operational and strategic challenges equally, and transformations of any scale are invariably of interest to me. I can work solo but also have a constantly evolving network of professionals and organisations able to assist me with skills, guidance, finance, technology and creativity.
