This typically means research with users/customers and business stakeholders and then an iterative process of rapidly testing ideas, and the assumptions that underpin them. 

We do this work 'hands-on', or we can train and coach an in-house team to do it.

Our clients range from local authorities, to financial institutions, to startups and scale-ups.

Time Out Group plc

I was responsible for driving the global product roadmap across web and mobile. We grew the London website from 1.5m to 5m monthly unique users and introduced new e-commerce and advertising revenue streams. I recruited and managed a growing team of UX, IA, product and content roles.

Digital Product Director

Content strategy and product development across Time Out's London website and all associated digital properties.

Online Editor

I managed a range of BBC web products including BBC Collective, BBC Movies, BBC Comedy, BBC Film Network, as well as sites for TV shows like Imagine and The Culture Show.

Successfully conceived, developed and pitched new products to senior management.

Interactive Editor

Launched and managed BBC Collective - the BBC's contemporary arts and culture community. Produced exclusive live sessions with Arctic Monkeys, Roots Manuva and many others.

Senior Producer

Editor BBC Choice (now BBC 3) website. Commissioning indies to produce original web based entertainment including Flash games and cartoons. These included such delights as 'Office Party Flirt Alert" a game based on Pacman where you are chased around the office by undesirable members of the opposite  sex, until you drink the magic drink, and the roles are reversed. Also, "Hotel Rock 'n' Roll" in which you try and catch TV's being flung from windows by rock stars, whilst avoiding the mind altering drugs they also toss out. All good fun.

I bring together teams of experts to work with clients to conceive, design and build more valuable digital products and services.

I also mentor and coach product and design professionals, and write and speak about the intersection of product management and design.
