Since 2017, Verdi has strategically participated as a minority shareholder (holding stakes of 5%-30%) in four hotel investments and one residential development project, showcasing our commitment to fostering growth and innovation in these sectors.

While headquartered in the Netherlands, our investment strategy transcends borders, focusing on 20 major European cities and prime hospitality assets in the Mediterranean region, including hotels and resorts. This geographical diversity reflects our ambition to capitalize on dynamic markets and create long-term value for our stakeholders.

As a specialist in hotel policy, hotel development, and zoning regulations in Amsterdam, I was engaged by the City of Amsterdam’s Hotel Development Intermediary (Hotelloods) to assist real estate developers, investors, and hotel operators in navigating the legal and organizational frameworks involved in hotel development projects.

Since transitioning to the private sector in 2015, I have leveraged my in-depth knowledge of these processes and my extensive network to support private developers and investors in realizing their projects in Amsterdam. My involvement in projects spans various roles, including project initiator, developer, intermediary, broker, zoning consultant, and financier for real estate ventures.

My expertise is particularly focused on the hospitality industry in Amsterdam and the Netherlands, where I work to bring innovative and sustainable hotel projects to fruition, ensuring alignment with both market demands and regulatory frameworks.

Founded in 1997, the Vereniging van Chinese Wetenschappers en Ingenieurs in Nederland (VCWI) is a non-profit, independent association comprising highly educated foreign professionals working in research institutions, universities, industry, and government sectors across the Netherlands.
