During my childhood and teenage years I lived and saw through my own skin the decadence of my country economically, politically and more importantly socially. Something never seem since world war time was the day to day of people. People hungry and hopeless was the common when I left my country. Fortunately I was able to emigrate when I was 18 thanks to my family. My first arrival to Europe was London where I started working and studying IT. Later that year I arrived to Spain where I noticed a huge problem: youth unemployment of +25% and +10% in general, a salary base that is not enough to live, jobs that are no high value output and a social mentality that the best thing to do with your life is to be a public employee. I want to change this. In order to do it we have to accelerate entrepreneurship and change the mentality of people(especially the <40 years old), this will also help our government to change their mentality and be more agile and people focus instead of bureaucratic and slow. And for the youth to know that there is another way to have a great life. So my mission is to grow the startup ecosystem through helping and investing in entrepreneurs, in order to grow this awesome but still small community until it becomes mainstream, our unemployment rate goes as low as 2% - 3% and the common problem of the youth becomes "to decide which company to join because of the values" instead of "how hard is to find a place to work" and for the once who are working to stop concerning about "how low they are getting pay". My long term vision (when my hair is grey) is to gather wealth, contacts and knowledge in order to come back to the place that saw my birth and invest all I have to reconstruct it in the best way possible using technology. My IT background is mainly in Software(Backend): Strong advocate for micro-services architecture Development of Ethereum Smart Contracts using Solidity Backend Development: NodeJS using Typescript API’s Development: GraphQL and REST Object Oriented Programming Development: C++ Infra: AWS, Kubernetes and Docker CI/CD: Jenkins and Circle CI My business background started on seeing my father businesses, launching a social media app with two friend, working in two start ups, and now being a Incubation Manager at Demium where I focused on launching tech-companies to the market and raising their pre-seed round.
