As a Regional Controller (Finance -Accounting and Operations ), I have doubled the company's market valuation, expanded profit margins, halted revenue leakage, and produced annual savings by building a culture of cost control and continuous improvement. I have also streamlined overhead, implemented financial control systems, and centralized the finance team, leveraging my expertise in financial modeling and analysis, process improvement, and people management. I am currently pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Phoenix, where I am learning advanced concepts and skills in corporate finance, investment analysis, risk management, and financial decision making. I am also a CFA candidate and a certified Financial Modeling and Valuation Analyst (FMVA) from the Corporate Finance Institute. Additionally, I have a Master of Science in Corporate Finance from Purdue University Global and a Bachelor of Science Finance and Accounting from Oakland University. My goal is to apply my finance and operations knowledge and experience to enable the companies with tools that unlock substantial increases to productivity. That is why I am also an Finance and Operations Manager at US Army, where I oversee and develop projects related to cash flow, financial reporting, FP&L development, revenue and expenses. I also assist departments in creating and managing forecasts and budgets for various projects, and gather and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and/or develop solutions. As an Army Veteran and a Career Coach at FourBlock, I am passionate about supporting and empowering other veterans to succeed in their transition to civilian careers. I have created and developed relationships with a community of employer members, including local businesses and Fortune 500 companies, that team together to teach, mentor, and hire today's returning service members. I have also participated in a comprehensive suite of in-person and online career readiness programming for veterans, building meaningful professional relationships and preparing for a successful military transition.
