Aldwyn Altuney is an outgoing Photojournalist who has worked in traditional media (newspapers, magazines, TV and radio) around Australia for 39 years. Born in Sydney and with a BA in Communications (MEDIA) from the University of Canberra (UC), she is fortunate to have interviewed stars including Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Cyndi Lauper, Debbie Harry (Blondie), Alby Mangels, Jimmy Barnes, Jimeoin and Mikey Robins, among others. She edited the fortnightly UC newspaper, Curio, and worked as a Journalist at The Daily Mercury in Mackay, Coffs Harbour Advocate, Queensland Times in Ipswich, Satellite Newspapers in Brisbane, Rave and Time Off in Brisbane, the Gold Coast Bulletin and Gold Coast Sun Newspapers (where she was a Journalist/ Sub Editor for five years). She did freelance Journalism/ Sub Editing work for The Daily News, Gold Coast Mail and Tweed-Coolangatta Border Mail for about three years.
