Responsible for managing the Digital Marketing and Virtual Transition strategies that aligned high school programming with the MAIP Fellowship and Alumni pipelines for Manhattan Early College of Advertising and The High School for Innovation and Advertising and Media. Additionally, I:

•	Collaborated with external educational affiliates and vendors to create a strategic plan for monetizing the alumni membership program that led to the program’s financial stability.

•	Evaluated and revised the curriculum standards for both campuses to ensure alignment with skills necessary for Advertising and Marketing professionals simulating real life scenarios. 

•	Fully engaged in the fundraising process from securing partnerships, creating proposals, to event go lives.

•	Implemented successful fundraising strategies for both campuses such as the Re:ACT (an annual pitch competition), Career Days, and live mentoring sessions for students.

Manager, Education Programs and MAIP Alumni 

Responsible for leading recruitment efforts for a diverse group of candidates with various backgrounds ranging from Art Directors, Copywriters, Project Managers, and D&I Leaders across the US, growing the 2019 Fellowship program cohort by 20% and the 2020 finalist pool by 100%. Additionally, I: 

•	Oversaw all activities related to the program from creating an annual timeline and strategic plans, candidate recruitment, to program marketing and final awards banquet post-fellowship. 

•	Collaborated with HR to plan and execute D&I training programs such as Belonging and Multicultural talent best practices for recruiting MAIP interns.

•	Developed the budget for program funding and oversaw an annual spend of a 7-figure budget for residential internships, resolving a $275k and ensured the spend remained within the Not to Exceed (NTE) ceiling. 

•	 Significantly reduced housing costs from approx. $900k to roughly $600k, while increasing the number of participating host agencies and fellows. 

•	Oversaw scholarships and awards for all MAIP Fellows and Alumni for an annual week-long banquet Face of Talent.

Manager, Diversity & Inclusion 

The National Society of Leadership and Success

Responsible for overseeing all activities for 46 college campus accounts. Secured annual contract renewals, met biannual membership growth standards and company-wide metrics and KPIs that drove the overall performance. Additionally, I:

•	Collaborated with campus leads to incorporate DEI best practices for recruiting candidates with diverse backgrounds in education, experience, and knowledge while contributing to a work environment of inclusion. 

•	Facilitated live training sessions for leadership for on various campuses for approx. 5000 attendees per year on issues related to effective communication, event management, and executive leadership for students and staff.

•	Conducted routine on site visits to campuses to facilitate company-designed and personally designed leadership development opportunities.

Program Manager

Institute for Emerging Issues

Responsible for developing and cultivating a diverse and inclusive engagement initiative to drive civic engagement among underrepresented youth in North Carolina. Executed training and conducted presentations across the State, reaching over 300 community leaders, preparing communities to address civic engagement in each region. Additionally, I:

•	Managed the BB&T Leadership Grant that funded the Fellowship and the LGFCU Grant for the social entrepreneurship program overseeing the dissemination of the funding and project deliverables.

•	Managed the Youth Engagement Portfolio and created a program for youth engagement that included the distribution of a statewide newsletter, a live streamed symposium, and a post-event update.

•	Managed the Social Entrepreneurship Portfolio and oversaw the annual social entrepreneurship program facilitating grant management, budgeting and forecasting, along with pre- and post- mortem project reports.

Emerging Leaders Fellow

Western Carolina University

Responsible for reviewing and managing grant contract terms and conditions, executing training, and generating financial burn rate reports for approx. 80 Federal, State, and Foundation grants to Principal Investigators (PIs), Additionally, I: 

•	Determined allowability of expenditures within grant contract terms.

•	Collaborated with the IT Team to design the first financial assessment program available to grantees.

•	Guided the  PIs through purchasing, hiring, budgeting, and reporting.

Grants Management Specialist

University of North Carolina

Responsible for conducting institutional research for the President and Vice Presidents of UNC General Administration. Additionally, I:

•	Assisted in launching a new website, conducting a communications overview, and crafting the message for the University system.

•	Monitored and curated news related to the UNC system in a weekly roundup. 

•	Created briefing memos and agendas for use by the President and staff.

•	Completed administrative tasks as needed and collaborated with cross-functional teams.

Presidential Scholar

Responsible for 48 student staff members and for collaborating with the President and Vice Presidents of the UNC System to complete various research projects, presentations, and writing assignments. Additionally, I:

•	Provided extensive support to Communications Team that including conducting a communications overview and website overhaul. 

•	Received Outstanding Student of the Year Award for service as Student Body President.

•	Member of the Board of Trustees and representative of over 10,000 students. 

•	Designed a budget for and dispersed over $140,000.  

•	Committees: Tuition and Fees Committee Co-Chair, Chancellor’s Leadership Committee,   
        Strategic Planning Committee, Academic Priorities Committee, Academic Calendar Committee.

Student Body President; Board of Trustees Ex Officio

Responsible for tutoring students on researching, writing, and revising.

Writing Fellow

UNC Association of Student Governments

Responsible for presiding over the General Assembly and directing 8 executive staff members and 64 delegates. Additionally, I:

•	Assisted in developing and monitoring a budget of over $220,000.

•	Planned and executed monthly meetings.

•	Wrote, co-wrote, edited, lobbied for, and passed legislation for organizational reform and 
        student advocacy.
