QEV Technologies is one of the Pioneers when it comes to electric mobility. The COO, Joan Orus, started his journey 20 years ago creating the solar car that raced over salt lakes in Australia. His racing spirit led the team to many victories in different championships. Through racing in WRC, TCR, WTCC and Formula E we were also developing cutting edge technologies. This innovation and technology opened doors for the company to start development of technology and full vehicles for other automotive companies.

QEV has developed 16 vehicles from scratch and homologated 6.

VHR Global Technical Recruitment

After exceeding targets in my first year as a sales consultant i was again promoted. 

I was on track to double my first year’s GP when COVID hit. I was able to bill consistently during UK lockdown as i had clients in countries that did not lockdown.

Principal Account Executive

After successfully graduating from the 12 week VHR Academy. I have been promoted to a full time sales consultant specializing in the Marine Industry. I am focused on developing long term consultative relationships with clients worldwide. 

In my first year I started a desk (from scratch) in the marine industry, both contract and permanent roles (globally). I hit > 125% of my first year target and billed just over £100k GP.

In some cases this involved researching my own compliant solutions for certain countries. 

I pride myself in being honest and completely transparent throughout the recruitment and on-boarding process, this includes both blue collar and white collar roles.

Recruitment Consultant - Marine

Joined VHR’s bespoke recruitment academy, this included training in candidate resourcing, qualification, interview process management, offer management and onboarding. 

Graduated 1st out of the 8 candidates that were chosen.

Account Support Manager

Community Manager (Benicassim Spain & Bilbao BBK). 
Responsible for developing and implementing a new strategy to recruit more ambassadors, monitor and maximise their performance and resolve all issues that may arise during their tenure relating to the brands they represent.

After translating guides from Spanish into English on how to make sales, was promoted to lead all ambassadors residing in Spain. Manage in real time relevant Social Media pages and post regularly in order to help ambassadors increase their sales. Equally, have to keep an eye out for, and address, any ambassadors who may break company rules on any Social Media platforms.

Campaign Manager

Assisted manager with the sale of tickets, ticket/wristband exchanges and deal face to face with a number of fake tickets.

Lovebox Festival & WeAreFstvl - 2016 Box Office Assistant

WUN Events

Launched a Dubstep & DnB event in Portsmouth.

Staged our second night in May 2014, which Addison Groove headlined (tribute set to DJ Rashad). Hit the venue’s capacity (350 people) and surpassed all targets at the bar. Was responsible for branding, budgeting (Including ticketing), securing and pre-paying the artists and venue. Managed all social media channels and event promotion; designed and distributed flyers and posters around the local area.

Co-led all aspects of the organisational process from booking headliners to decorating the venue, all in just under three weeks. Set a budget of £2.2k and generated just under £2.7k revenue. Donated all profits (c.£500) to The Breast Cancer Campaign.

Gained the necessary experience to start a brand and plan a launch event from scratch.

Europa House Hotel

Provide customer service and manage front of house: deal with check-ins, check-outs and payments. Frequently responsible for end of day cashing in (amounts up to £XXX) and updating online reservation management system.

Receptionist

NVS Music Group

Under tight deadlines, successfully installed the music production equipment and trained up all musicians and support crews on how to operate the music and tech kit. Event ran smoothly with no sound, recording or lighting issues.

Knowledge Arena Events Assistant – Outlook Festival 2016

Part of the team working at the Main Entrance; helped arrange the fencing, made sure everyone was in the correct queue, exchanged tickets according to their wristbands and helped keep a steady flow of festival goers through the search area.
