Alex was a portfolio wealth specialist at SCB for a short period in 2024. Prior, he was an equity specialist for the past 10 years across HSBC Private Banking, Citi, and OCBC, with the last 6.5 in HSBC between 2013 to 2023. Between 2011 to 2013, Alex was a multi-asset investment advisor in SCB. 

Alex spent 4 years in asset management at Lion Global Investors as an institutional business development manager, where he was primary client manager to Great Eastern Holdings. He helped oversee and perform due diligence on fund providers for Great Eastern ILP funds and life insurance funds.

He spent the early part of his career in various investment operation roles with SCB, Lion Global Investors and Custom House Global Fund Services between 2005-2007.

Alex is conversant in English, Mandarin, Cantonese and Hokkien and served with the SAF Commandos during his national service. He graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Business with the University of London.
