Hi, I'm Alex Perry—A CEO of Practically Speaking LLC, and my native language is a typo—thanks for coming. It's important that everyone knows the typo part before we connect. If you're looking for perfection, you won't find it here! But if you're looking for authenticity, you've come to the right place. My heart-work is to help shape better communicators. I've tried to be a "traditional public speaking coach," with all the rules, formulas, and fixes. Unsurprisingly, I failed. It turns out there are no magical formulas to "fix" fear, and there is no one "right" way to speak. Throughout my 17 years as a Speech-Language Pathologist and the work I do as a Communication Coach, I've found that helping people speak in a way that honors their style and supports their unique challenges (hello, self-doubt!) can bring out the best in any communicator.
