I'm a data scientist passionate about extracting patterns from chaos. I believe that information should be at the service of people, to make the world a better place. For more than 12 years, I have dedicated myself to creating data products innovating decision-making processes, and strengthening the data-driven culture in organizations. In addition, I've conducted dozens of independent projects and volunteer consulting, mentoring, and training for all sectors (public, private and third sector). Among the most relevant projects I led as a data scientist/analyst, I highlight: ✓ Administrative and jurisdictional reorganization of the Federal Justice with the foundation of the Federal Court of the 6th region; ✓ Foundation of the data intelligence area of the Federal Justice, strengthening the data-driven culture in the organization; ✓ Implementation of the Observatory of the Federal Justice Strategy - an award-winning initiative of high social impact, with the proposal to measure the efforts, courts' productivity to improve service's transparency and efficiency; ✓ Developed an automation algorithm that reduced 99% of the time delivering the reports to stakeholders. I'm an expert in primary data science tools and related languages such as Python, R, SQL, and SAS. Hands-on experience in applying machine learning models in recommendation systems, time series forecasting, classification (fraud, credit scoring, and others), customer segmentation, market basket analysis, optimization problems. I also have a master's degree in Applied Statistics from the University of Brasília (UNB), a certificate in Data Science and Big Data from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT xPRO), an MBA in Data Science and Analytics from USP, and a Bacharel's in Statistics from UNB. Learning is a passion that I practice daily. I'm never filled up with knowledge; there's always room for more.
