Hustle culture is the worst scam.

“You need to make $400K a year to be happy”

But f*cking nobody talks about the price you pay
→ just the shiny “success.”

Hustle is a form of self-sabotage.
Ufff, I said it. Pissing people off again.

I see more and more founders “hustling” to scale up
but it’s actually the fastest way to hit a ceiling.
You don’t need more chaos. You need less.

If you’re:
- Telling yourself “it’s just a busy phase”
- Switching hats every hour/min.
- Still feeling behind every day
- Feeling constant pressure
- Working 14-hour days
- Missing family time
- doubting yourself
- procrastinating

That’s not “grind.”
That’s a warning sign.

You’re not just highly stressed
your beliefs and thoughts don’t
match the next level you’re trying to reach.

Left unchecked, this doesn’t just cap your revenue
it kills your:
- clarity
- energy
- family time

I burned out doing it the hard way. 

Now I coach male founders to scale from the inside out.
Using the same neuroscience-backed systems

Here’s what I did this week instead of just pushing harder -
I tracked every step of my first 4 days of the $200K experiment:

- Tasks I did
- How long they took
- Stress level (1–10)
- Emotions
- Thoughts
- Energy

You can’t scale what you don’t see.
Most founders I meet don’t even realize 
how close they are to burning out.

They just say, “I’ll fix it later” - until “later” is 
a breakdown, a doctor or a partner who’s had enough.

And when your self-worth is tied to:
- Followers
- Money
- Watch
- Title
- Car

You’re building a business on a cracked foundation.
Hustle looks strong from the outside.
On the inside, it’s self-sabotage.

Two years ago, I hated Christmas.
Everyone else seemed excited.

I felt… trapped.

For me, Christmas wasn’t peace.
It was a forced shutdown.

I’d grind all year, tell myself
“Just make it to the holidays.”

Then the break came…
and I couldn’t even enjoy it.

- My body was exhausted and hurt. 
- My mind was still in my inbox and work.
- My family got what was left of me, not the best of me.

--> When I was younger, I even used to drink more around Christmas - 
not to celebrate, but to forget the stress for a few hours.

And the crazy part?

Most founders live like this every year: 

- Push nonstop
- Ignore the warning signs
- Use Christmas as rehab
- Then go right back into the same cycle in January

Christmas becomes the one time
you’re “allowed” to slow down.

The rest of the year?

+ You’re on call.
+ In your head. 
+ On edge.

(man... I was always moody)

Here’s what I’ve learned the hard way: 

If you need Christmas to feel human again,
something is broken in how you’re running your life the other 11.5 months.
Christmas shouldn’t be the emergency brake.

It should be the standard:
- Rest
- Presence
- Connection
- My pink Christmas tree

That’s why I stopped trying to “earn” my rest
and started rebuilding from the inside out.

TL;DR

So if you’re already secretly waiting for Christmas
to finally breathe again…

That’s not just “a busy phase.”
That’s a warning sign.

Your family doesn’t need the version of you
who collapses into the holidays like a broken machine.

They need the man who’s present, clear, and actually there
the other 360 days, too.

This big fat lie cost me $30K. 

- More money.
- More security.
- More breathing room.

That was the story.

Man I was f*cking wrong.
(now I can laugh about it) 

More clients meant:

+ More pressure
+ More responsibility
+ More people depending on me

And the stuff that was actually eating me alive:

- stress
- self-doubt
- brutal self-talk
- zero recovery

didn’t magically disappear.
(I did come on top ...) 

I kept thinking:
“Once I hit [X] months in a row at 10k, 20k, 30k…
 then I’ll slow down."
 
- Then I'll rest
- Then I’ll fix my sleep.
- Then I’ll deal with my stress.
- Then I’ll be present with my family.

That moment never came.

Because no amount of money can buy you out of a life
you’re not honest about.

If your inner game is a mess:
- You just scale the chaos
- You scale the stress
- You scale the guilt and the pressure

--> You don’t fix it. You multiply it.

That’s exactly what happened to me.
I burned out chasing “one more client”
instead of facing what was going on inside.

Now I do the opposite
for myself and for the men I work with.

We RESET what’s happening inside:
- The beliefs that say “rest is weakness”
- The thoughts that tell you “you’re still not enough”
- The identity that only feels worthy when you’re producing

Then we RISE:
- Clear priorities
- Boundaries around time and energy
- Decisions that match the man you actually want to be

Only then do we RESHAPE:
- Your calendar
- Your systems
- Your business model

So growth doesn’t cost you your health, marriage, or sanity.

If you keep telling yourself
“after the next client I’ll fix this”…
This is your sign from me!!!

Been there.
Done that.

P.S.: Be honest - how many times have you told yourself
 “after this next push, I’ll finally slow down”?

2 years ago I’d call you crazy if you told me I’d:

- Building a life that l love
- Getting married with 26
- Building f*cking 2 businesses
- Becoming a performance coach
- I could make a change in society
- Meeting people from 27+ countries
- Going on a business trip to New York
- being a manager with my own team of 5

TBH 2 years ago I still struggled with burnout
Having my 9-5 and working 14 hour days
→ thinking thats what life should be like
→ telling myself its just “a PHASE”

October 2024 I started going public
→ 0 idea how to create
→ 0 idea how to bring value online
→ having a HUGE aversion for DMs and Content

→ BUT with the big vision to create a movement
Healthy, sustainable, family friendly success

Since then my life did a 360:
- Building a family with my WIFE
- Being invited to podcast and events
- No hair loss anymore and just a little grey
- Working 23+ clients from all around the world
- People reaching out to level up through my work
- Clients saving 10 hours, no stress, more family and $$$

So my message to YOU is simple:
→ You have a choice

It starts with 3 things:
1. Identity
2. Beliefs/Stories
3. Nervoussytem/Brain

When you change your inner life
—> your business will change automatically.

2 days ago I launched my experiment to scale to $200K. Some of the reactions I got were the most toxic shit I EVER heard of:

1. "you are not good enough"
2. "who's gonna buy into it?"
3. "people just care about $$, not mental health"
4. "you are way too young"
5. "your revenue goal is too high"
6. "you won't have enough time" 
7. " you don't deserve it"

And tbh number 1 and 7 are my absolute favorite!
But number 3 is just plain hustle-bro ignorance. 

And I understand that scaling is scary to most.

I have concerns myself making this huge step
Because I am also currently handling: 

- a 9-5 in a manager position
- 2 companies on the side
- Being newlywed 

(all while being 26-year-young) 

But I know one thing:
→ In order to scale, you need a new identity

And that’s why I’m doing the work:
- Every evening a mindset session.
- Deep journaling - 20 minutes
- Opening up with my wife
- Consulting with the closest friends


And I’m tracking 3 things obsessively:
 - Am I getting too comfortable & losing the drive?
- Which fears are showing up? (e.g. fear of failure, success, judgment).
- Is my old self-image (burnout) sabotaging new progress?


Because in order to scale in business
You need mastery of your inner world.


TL; DR

Scaling your business requires a new identity.
And a new identity is built by mastering your inner game.

To do that stop listening to the toxic doubts
Because they always come from: 
- people who are too scared to even try
- people who project their fears on you

Make sure to understand that:
→ What you believe is what you achieve.
→ Only YOU can decide what’s realistic for YOU.

That’s the sentence I hear most from founders and business owners.

But it got me thinking...

Why do we keep telling ourselves this?

Is it just part of who we are in today’s society?

Last week, I was riding the metro through Munich.

I sat between two young men:

On my left: TikTok. Scrolling, scrolling, scrolling.
On my right: Staring at the ceiling. Lost in thought.

And me?

I was reading about identity.

That’s when it hit me:

Identity drives biology.

When you know what you want - when you’re clear -

You focus on what matters, even if it’s just a 20-minute metro ride.

It’s not about finding more hours.

It’s about using the ones you have with intention.

This one belief is quietly costing you $$$.

And it’s taking your family/health/business down with it.

Few weeks back I spoke with a founder:
- 3 kids
- 70‑hour weeks
- Finishing “the rest” on weekends
- Exhausted, depressed, running on high stress 24/7
On paper, he was doing great.

→ Inside, he felt like he was failing everyone.

At some point he said the one thing crushing him out loud:
“In the end, everything really must rest on my shoulders - 
the business, the team, my family.”

This one belief was running him 23 years.
Since he became a father first time.

What he couldn't know was this belief
reprogramed his brain and identity.

→ My worth = what I produce and earn

- Your nervous system gets stuck in permanent survival mode
- Your brain literally rewires for hyper‑vigilance (hello, 2am overthinking)
- You never feel safe enough to slow down, even when your body is screaming for it

This isn’t just mindset or missing bubble baths.
It’s neuroplasticity in the wrong direction.

The good news:
The brain that wired itself into this can wire itself out of it.

Here is how we solved it (based on the 3Rs):

1. Awareness:
Notice when you catch yourself thinking
“I have to do it all, or it won’t get done right.” 
Don’t judge it, just observe.

2. Challenge:
Ask yourself, is this belief 100% true?
Who else can handle this?
What if I trusted others?

3. Small Experiment:
Choose one simple task to delegate or postpone today.
Notice your body’s reaction without trying to fix it immediately.

4. Resource Building:
Anchor feelings of trust, calm, and safety.
Practice breathing or visualization to 
strengthen these positive emotions.

5. Reinforcement:
Repeat the small step daily, gradually expanding
the space where you stop “holding everything together.”

+ What was left was a founder finally able to breathe again
+ Weekends with the family and pets
+ A team that had a leader again
+ Stress down from 10 to 4
+ 8 hours saved in a week

This is the kind of inner OS work I do with 6‑figure founders:
we find the beliefs running their calendar and stress,
then use neuroscience and identity work
to rewire them for a life that doesn’t 
burn their brain or their family.

I used to say it too.
For months. Even years.

On the outside, it looked like momentum.
I told you all about the numbers and cars.
On the inside, it was slow-motion self-destruction.

So let’s make this simple.

Answer these 3 questions in the next 30 seconds.
No overthinking.
Just yes or no.

1. If you vanished for 30 days, would your business survive or would you be terrified to find out?

2. Do your partner and kids get a present, calm version of you or the drained, distracted one who’s “still at work” in his head?

3. How often do you feel restless, foggy, or exhausted and still tell yourself “it’s just a busy phase, I’ll fix it later”?

If your honest answers are: 

1. “Yeah, I’d be terrified to leave for 30 days.”

2. “My family gets the drained, distracted version of me.”

3. “I feel restless and exhausted way more often than I admit and I keep telling myself it’s just a phase.”

Then you don’t have a “busy phase.”
You have a problem.

Because that usually means:
- You’re the bottleneck in your own company
- Your self-worth is tied to how much you produce
- You don’t trust your systems or your team enough to let go
- Your nervous system doesn’t know how to switch off anymore

And here’s the myth most guys still believe:
“I’ll fix this once I hit next revenue milestone.”

No, you won’t.

If you don’t change how you work and how you think,
more money just gives you:
-> Bigger problems
-> Bigger pressure
-> Bigger expectations

You don’t grow out of this.
You grow deeper into it.

I’ve seen this pattern in myself and in the men I work with.
The ones who get brutally honest first:

+ “My business depends too much on me.”
+ “My family gets my leftovers.”
+ “My brain is never really off.”

If that’s you, this isn’t about hustling harder.

It’s about finally admitting your current way of working
isn’t sustainable.

And that’s not weakness.
