Solutions Architect

I have worked on implementing 2 platforms for onboarding clients and products:
- configure and enhance existing custom components (BPMN engine, documents, notifications, OCR, CRM, CMS)
- implement microservices needed for integration with client systems (using Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data, Spring Kafka using HTTP REST, SOAP, gRPC)
- configure Redhat SSO (Keycloak) and other components (Nginx, Lua, Resty OIDC) to support Single Sign On with Kerberos / SPNEGO
- work closely with DevOPS and assist in creating Deployments, Configurations and setup logging, monitoring and tracing using industry standard framework (ElasticSearch, Kibana, FluentD, Jaeger, Prometheus, Grafana, Alert Manager)
- install and configure OpenShift / Kubernetes specific technologies (like Strimzi operator, secure Kakfa with SASL + OAUTHBEARER)
- create release plans and assist in the processes of deploying and releasing new versions of the platform
- write documentation for all the components, create scenarios and guides for Support Teams

I have worked as a Java Developer for all the backend systems used in Orange Money. I have implemented complex  features as well as change requests and refactoring using Clean Code best practices, SOLID principles, RESTful and design patterns.

The methodology used in the projects was Agile SCRUM or Kanban.

I have also relied on the following XP programming concepts: refactoring, TDD and Domain Driven Design with a focus on microservices, process managers and CQRS / event-sourcing.

I was responsible for helping new colleagues with onboarding, setting up their environments and day to day tasks as the number of components in the ecosystem was quite high and there was complex business logic in every layer. There was also a focus on performing code reviews and extracting / rewriting legacy code adapting it to our ever changing environment.
