Acting as the company's Data Protection Officer:

- project based role for the GDPR implementation within the organisation;
- continue the gap analysis process with all the departments of the company: Marketing, Credit Risk, Customer Relations and all related functions of this department, respectively Complaints and Call center, IT, etc;
- First point of contact for all claims received from customers related to data protection activities within the company and drafting the company's point of view;
- first point of contact in relation with the company's Processors or associate Controllers and assisting the company in signing Data Protection  Agreements with its contratual partners;
- Second line of defence in case of events of GDPR breach and first point of contact for all employees within the organization in case of any data protection related requests, complains and/or breach events;
- Reviewing all internal policies, contracts and contest/promotions rulings from a GDPR perspective;
- Rebuilding the company's internal processes in order to insure the compliance of such processes with the GDPR provisions. I was in direct contact for this task with all managers of the departments and a Big Four consultant that insured assistance for GDPR solution design process;
- Rebuilding the website of the company, in terms of writing the Privacy Policy, Cookies Policy and Data Retention Policy and also drafting texts for all sections of the website;
- Providing internal training to employees regarding the impact GDPR has on their daily activity, taking into consideration the specific activity for each department;
- I was in contact with all DPOs from the countries in which the company resides and I had a functional subordination to the UK Group DPO.
