Led the build out of pricing strategy and operations at Segment. This entailed managing price changes, adapting price models, setting price strategy around products, supporting product teams in value identification and packaging, setting metrics across the product portfolio, supporting in big deal negotiations and custom deal pricing, building out GTM plans for particular product opportunities, helping design the start-up program and its various offerings, and building out the overall pricing team.

Led teams to drive growth for global clients leveraging pricing, marketing, and sales strategies. Combining expertise in data analytics, consumer research, and theoretical modeling in industries ranging from quick-service restaurants, industrial manufacturing, and start-up software. Recent projects have included Product feature optimization, Go-To-Market strategy development, Price Pack Architecture, Pricing model redesign, and Pricing optimization.

University of Rochester - Simon Business School

Co-created and lectured an MBA-level class of 30 students on the topic of B2B pricing, covering four major areas: Price Strategy, Price Setting, Price Implementation, and Price Governance.

Helped run the office of fraternity and sorority affairs at the University of Rochester. Lead strategic planning sessions for 30 different organizations. Assisted organizations in annual planning, preparation for events, and successful completion of accreditation material .

Senior Peer Advisor

Consulted on the pricing of a new health wearables product for a biotech start-up. Developed market research methodologies and surveys for the company to implement. Worked with a team of 4 to research the wearables industry and created a value based menu of prices.

Assisted Professors Greg Shaffer and Richard Cardot. Led review sessions and graded assignments/exams. Taught secondary lesson sessions to review coursework and determine issues with material comprehension. Tutored students on one-on-one basis as needed.

Pricing Teaching Assistant

Worked under the product owner of Disney Movies Anywhere, a new consumer facing media product, on both mobile and web platforms. In this process, helped redesign the UX on-boarding process, implemented and evaluated tracking analytics, as well as designed and improved deep-linking functionality for marketing purposes. Learned how to work in an Agile environment with 2-week sprints, and helped restructure supportive organizational software – Rally and Confluence.

Co-managed the cafe to fulfill daily operational needs, including order management, payroll, scheduling, inventory, hiring, and marketing. Managed local marketing, advertising, promotions, and all social media. Focused on driving higher margins through reduction of average COGs from 43% to 29% while optimizing menu pricing for a net 11% increase. Optimized cafe workflows by identifying bottle necks and adapting our training process.
